impressive throughout - 2003 Mazda Truck
By Awesome truck - March 27 - 10:00 amThis fall I purchaced a new b4000 from a mazda dealer new in town. I was very impressed with the way I was treated to begin with. The truck is everything and then some that I expected out of a truck. The 207hp engine mated to a 5 speed automatic transmission is pure performance. Gas milage is decent considering the vechicle. Build and design both interior and exterior is superior compaired to any other truck in its class. Im very Very happy with my purchace

Do not buy PLEASE - 2002 Mazda Truck
By fxdl1000 - June 9 - 2:00 amAt 35000 miles it was getting sloppy. The rear end was making a klunking sound. Ingram park Mazda said the parts were back ordered and would take months to get. I called mazda factory and they called Ingram park mazda. The end result was Ingram park had screwed up. But still the part was months in comming. They said. I am stuck with a truck I am paying for with a serious defect and not parts!!!! My recomendation is to not buy Mazda trucks.

Good Buy for the money - 2002 Mazda Truck
By mutbreath - May 5 - 4:23 amBought this as an extra car for running errands and doing the "honeydos". Great truck for the money. It looks great and rides fine. I like the extended cab for safe storage & the extra seating for my kids.

BAD AC EXPERIANCE - 2003 Mazda Truck
By J C - March 2 - 10:00 am(YEAR 2002 B2300) IVE HAD IT FOR A MONTH AND I AM TOTALLY DISGUSTED WITH THE PERFORMANCE OF THE AC UNIT. IT THUMPS ON AND OFF ABOUT EVERY 06 SECONDS. IT JERKS THE ENGINE SO HARD IT FEELS LIKE I HIT A SMALL POTHOLE EVERY 50 FEET OR SO. NOT FUN AT ALL. IVE BEEN (VERY HAPPILY) DRIVING MAZDA TRUCKS AND CARS FOR 16 YEARS (2 TRUCKS 2 CARS MADE BY MAZDA, NOT FORD). THIS WILL BE MY LAST MAZDA. FORD HAS RUINED THEM.

Good Truck for the $$ - 2003 Mazda Truck
By E151 - February 18 - 2:00 amYou can get some really good deals on this truck... I got Auto with AC. Its got tons of room way more then a toyota. Ive had this truck for over 5K miles and no problems except the tires it came with were crap had them road balanced and basically unbalanceable. Mazda service SUCKS... I dont think Ill ever buy another Mazda... But, for the price, and seeing how Ill probably get a new one in 3-5 years. I think it will hold its value for a long time to come.

Year one experience - 2003 Mazda Truck
By deepwater - August 29 - 11:06 pmVery fit for purpose. I stole it for $10,900. Use it for towing an aluminum fishing boat and to haul gear on long trips to my sailboat in Florida. 30 mpg at 75 mph(!) and I never get less than 25 mpg around town :). Im 6 2" and find it very comfortable and roomy. AC will blow you away, even in New Orleans heat. I was looking for a used beater to limit miles on my Vette but couldnt find a decent one for much less than the B2300 new. Yeah, its light on power (anything is compared to my #1) but the fuel efficiency is welcome with gas @ $2+.

Best truck I own - 2002 Mazda Truck
By C. Clay-Van FArm - July 12 - 11:50 amThis truck is a very reliable truck it has a good suspension for hauling trailers around the farm it handles very well at highway speeds and the only thing I would do to it is to add a larger rear end in it so that the motor doesnt have to strain so much when we are pulling hay wagons out of the fields and this has a very good leaf springs in it because we have hauled a 1500 lb. Safe home from 100 miles away and it didnt break anything
