Overview & Reviews
For 2006, the MX-5 gets its first top-to-bottom redesign since its launch in 1989. The roadster gains a roomier cockpit but still tips the scales at under 2,500 pounds. Beneath the hood, the MX-5 benefits from an all-new 170-horsepower, 2.0-liter engine. Side-impact airbags and ABS are now standard across all trims.
- Huge fun factor, precise steering and handling, low base price, economical to operate.
- A few questionable interior plastics, still snug for large adults.

I LOVE IT! - 2006 Mazda MX-5 Miata
By Toni - April 29 - 4:33 amI have only had my baby for 3 months now, but I am having so much fun driving it. I miss my Hondas better gas mileage (especially now), but its worth it to have such pleasure driving a car. I hope it proves to be as reliable as my two previous (new) Hondas (thus my 7 rating on that because I dont know yet). Thanks for making it not only so much fun, but affordable as well.

Driving isnt boring anymore - 2006 Mazda MX-5 Miata
By ValiantSailor - January 11 - 3:33 pmEver own a car so fun that you looked for excuses to go driving, or taking the long way home? Thats the Miata, or MX-5 as its now called. This car is so responsive it seems the driver can control it with thoughts alone. Light...predictable...responsive...FUN! All this and 30MPG, too!
