Overview & Reviews
Lincoln redesigns its Town Car this year, making it lower, stiffer and faster. The interior is nicely improved as well, with softer seats and better positioned controls.
- There is a stigma that goes with buying a Town Car. It will either label you as a Sun City retiree or a New York limousine chauffeur. Not the image that most people are looking for.

ok if you have money to fix problems - 1998 Lincoln Town Car
By jim - April 28 - 10:53 ambrought the car year and a half ago and rides like a dream but many many many problems. In the year and a half i have had it the window wiper motor has gone out, my windows half the time dont work (all 4 of them), head gasket blew, water that leaks into the back floor when rains and many other minor problems and let me add I take very good care of my cars and dont beat them. I recommend this car but be prepared to drop some dollars on it.

lincoln towncar - 1998 Lincoln Town Car
By gerald compton - October 16 - 10:00 amthis car is wonderful to drive. not great on gas, looks real good. the only thing is the paint fades on this model and ford will not make it good. its $3500.00 to repaint. only fades on the passenger side doors. be careful of the paint job. that is my only complaint about this car. thanks,

In the shop to much - 1998 Lincoln Town Car
By Bry - October 17 - 2:00 am5 heater cores in 3yrs. No one can fix the root problem. Ford has spent every dime of profit in repairs on my car. Up to $8000 now. My list of misc. repairs is absurd.

Its a Car - 1998 Lincoln Town Car
By Cjv - March 7 - 10:00 amI really enjoy this car. I have driving many types of vehicles all over the United States and this is one of the nicest road cars there is. I only have one gripe about this wonderful car. Once you have put a number of miles on any car or truck you must be able to grease the front end and on this ford product you cant. That can be dangerous if you travel a lot. The only thing else is no power trunk like the caddies. Not the power of a northstar motor and a little road noise. But What a ride. The air ride system and 30 miles a gallon on the freeway in a FULL size American classic! You will not be dissapointed .
