Overview & Reviews
The LS features a new front fascia for 2005, and the automatic transmission has been tweaked yet again for improved shift feel and quality.
- Confident steering and handling, optional V8 delivers plenty of smooth and quiet power, comfortable and roomy interior, optional THX-certified sound system.
- Lack of a manual transmission keeps it from true sport sedan status, build quality lags behind German and Japanese competitors, not as nimble as other sport sedans in its class.

Job Well Done - 2005 Lincoln LS
By bonesofstone - July 19 - 10:00 amOver time I have owned a number of luxury sedans and I am thoroughly impressed by the LS. Lincoln has come a long way in its quest for a front line competitor with the European and Japanese makes in its class. It is fun to drive as well as practical (selectshift transmission is great in traffic... less use on brakes). Handling is fantastic! One thing Id like to see improved would be shoulder room and leg room for the front and back.

Very good value - 2005 Lincoln LS
By dick v - February 15 - 11:16 pmVery good value for luxury car. Very good handling and acceleration. I traded in a 2000 LS Sport with 98000 miles.
