Overview & Reviews
The LS' already handsome appearance can be further enhanced with the LSE appearance package that includes 17-inch two-tone Blade Grey wheels, a unique front fascia, round foglights, modified Blade Grey grille with color-keyed upper trim piece, side rocker panels and rear valance, low profile spoiler, dual stainless-steel exhaust tips and LSE floor mats. Lincoln makes an in-dash CD changer standard for 2002 (with Alpine Audiophile components on Sport models) and restyles the 16-inch alloy wheels on non-Sport V6 and V8 versions. A Vehicle Communication System, which provides a voice-activated Motorola Timeport mobile phone, is optional and includes safety and security services, route guidance and access to weather reports, stock quotes and sports scores. Three new colors replace three old ones.
- Confident steering and handling, choice of either a V6 or V8 engine, comfortable and roomy interior, clean exterior design.

Happy Lincoln Owner - 2002 Lincoln LS
By DinoDon - February 3 - 10:00 amAbsolutey a kick to drive, drives like a large sports car. It is extremely tight and quiet, and we love the throaty sound of the V6. Dont need the v8 and I have raced cars. The ultimate sports luxury car. We tested bmw, lexus, accura, and others, but this was the best bang for the buck.

Best Car I ever drove - 2002 Lincoln LS
By hmm - July 8 - 1:06 pmI have owned my 2001 LS (V8 Sport) for 7 months. A great handling / performance car. Compares well with BMW 5 series for a lot less money. The early bugs seemed to have been worked out. If you are considering a Lexus GS, BMW 5, Audi A6, Acura or Mercedes E, drive this car before buying. Then use the savings to buy your wife a new car so she will not take away your LS

They STILL dont believe its a Lincoln! - 2002 Lincoln LS
By Stan The Man - May 22 - 2:00 amActually, Ive had my 2000 LS since 7/00 and have had no problems. A lot of great options for the money. Ive driven in all types of weather and this (rear wheel drive) car is very sure footed. Handles like no other car Ive ever driven! (Mercedes E320, Caddy Deville) Even now, they ask me what kind of car it is. Wouldnt want to own anything else!

Great Car - 2002 Lincoln LS
By RCC - April 4 - 10:00 amI love my Lincoln. The power is adequate and the comfort is exceptional. I am looking forward for an improved power version of this vehicle in the future (320 - 350 horse power).

02 Lincoln LS - 2002 Lincoln LS
By Rene - February 5 - 2:53 pmMy Lincoln LS V8 has been the best car I have ever owned. At 68000 miles; it has yet to have one mechanical problem. I am still running on the original brakes, tires and battery - and all Ive done is change the oil and rotate the tires as scheduled. It has been a blast to drive. When I bought it I was also considering the BMW 5 series and the Jaguar X and S Types. I think I got the best bang for my buck. I would recommend this car to anyone looking for a fun car to drive, lots of power, great handling - at a very reasonable price.

2001 LS v8 Sport - 2002 Lincoln LS
By seagull - February 5 - 2:20 pmHave owned my LS 9 months and have driven it from coast to coast and back and from the mid Atlantic coast to Florida. This is the best handling most responsive vehicle I have owned, and there have been a lot from Cadillacs down.

I love my Lincoln LS - 2002 Lincoln LS
By WJS - November 17 - 2:33 amI bought this car in 2004 and it had 20,000 miles on it. I have loved it since the day I bought it. It is sporty and is so pretty when it is all cleaned up. The V-8 makes for wonderful performance. Ive looked on the internet and find that some new 6 cylinders dont get the mpg that I do with this one. (19 in the city and 26 on the highway)

After 2 months, still love this car - 2002 Lincoln LS
By hobby - October 7 - 10:00 amI recently purchased this vehicle used and was quite impressed with the power, comfort and handling of this car. The V8 spins up quickly and the car eagerly handles the twisties. I also like the elegant comfort of the leather seats. I dont know what else I could ask for. I was surprised that Lincoln could build such a nimble car with room for my family.
