Overview & Reviews
The LS' already handsome appearance can be further enhanced with the LSE appearance package that includes 17-inch two-tone Blade Grey wheels, a unique front fascia, round foglights, modified Blade Grey grille with color-keyed upper trim piece, side rocker panels and rear valance, low profile spoiler, dual stainless-steel exhaust tips and LSE floor mats. Lincoln makes an in-dash CD changer standard for 2002 (with Alpine Audiophile components on Sport models) and restyles the 16-inch alloy wheels on non-Sport V6 and V8 versions. A Vehicle Communication System, which provides a voice-activated Motorola Timeport mobile phone, is optional and includes safety and security services, route guidance and access to weather reports, stock quotes and sports scores. Three new colors replace three old ones.
- Confident steering and handling, choice of either a V6 or V8 engine, comfortable and roomy interior, clean exterior design.

Great Compromise - 2002 Lincoln LS
By MechEngineer - January 27 - 2:30 amThe LS looks great in a classy understated way, and it is very comfortable on long highway runs - its a Lincoln. However, on our many 2-lane blacktop roads here in East Tennessee, its superior handling and powerful V-8 passing ability make this fine car a real pleasure.

Smooth and still Sporty! - 2002 Lincoln LS
By Brady - November 5 - 12:43 amI owned an Audi A4TQ and loved the quattro but was growing weary of the maintenance. I was looking for a more comfortable ride without compromising sportiness, and a vehicle easier to maintain. The LS has fit the bill perfectly. I love the v8 power, and fuel economy has not been that bad. I also really like the interior comfort of this car, and the seats are great. The trunk could be a bit bigger. The real test came driving across central Wisconsin in a blizzard. I was cautious, but amazed at how well the rear-wheel drive and traction control handled the terrible road conditions (original Michelin Pilot with 30k miles). The LS has so-far proven to be very reliable, fun and easy!

By I LOVE MY LS! - October 5 - 2:56 amBought my LS about 5 years ago and have had absolutely NO problems at all and I love it..Handles well, excellent gas mileage (24-27 MPG) and is very comfortable and fun to drive. Would recommend it! Have had several FORD/LINCOLN products and they have all been excellent cars/trucks! No Problems!

By johnny boy - September 6 - 2:00 amoverall, i am pleased. there are few concerns i have. there is not much interior space for storing things (cds, maps, etc. the ride is not as smooth as i thought, but then again, this is a sport car and not the lincoln town car

This car blows. - 2002 Lincoln LS
By norminator - August 31 - 2:00 amIt sucks. Its the B-team vehicle at the A-team price. Theres no interior storage room, its completely unreliable. It gets bad gas mileage. Its run out of gas on me twice indicating more than a third of a tank left. Shifting gears requires a 3 second wait time.

I hate my Lincoln - 2002 Lincoln LS
By I hate my car!! - June 27 - 9:30 amI bought my car 3 years ago and it has been nothing but a problem. I will never, ever buy another Ford/Lincoln again. Everything is very costly. My car needs repairs that cost well over 2000 dollars and the stupid car is only worth 1800! I do not recommend anyone purchasing this car.

Love it! - 2002 Lincoln LS
By gd9704 - May 27 - 10:00 amI leased my ivory parchment 02 LS in January of 2002. 24,000 miles later, I am still in love. This car is comfortable, quick, nimble and nice to look at. Pricey? Well, yes. But I believe that the LS is a better value than a comparable Lexus or BMW. Plus, I like the fact that its American Made and has had no problems since new!
