Model Overview:

The Lexus RX 350 is a vehicle that's comfortable in its own metal. And why wouldn't it be? This midsize luxury crossover SUV has long been a consumer favorite thanks to its plush ride, spacious interior, strong reliability record and appealing high-tech features. While the RX 350 doesn't promise much in the way of driving passion, its combination of comfort and convenience is hard to top in a five-passenger luxury crossover. It also commands lofty resale values due to that sterling Lexus reputation.

Offering either front- or all-wheel drive, the RX 350 dates back to 2007, when it was introduced as a continuation of the RX 330. It has received significant upgrades in cabin technology over the years, but a generous standard features list and excellent build quality are a given with any Lexus RX 350. Unless you need the versatility of a third-row seat, this Lexus is likely to be a compelling proposition.

  • Annoying rattling noise - 2010 Lexus RX 350

I thought I am the only one, but I have to agree with the review written by mml on 08/10/2009. I also noticed a very annoying rattling noise from the driver side seat belt buckle area. I brought the car to the dealership but cannot duplicate it. I really hate it because the problem comes and goes. We need more people to report this problem and have this problem recalled by Lexus. It seems that RX350 is now a mass produced car and the build quality doesnt live up to the hype. A bit disappointing.

  • Wish I didnt buy a Lexus - 2007 Lexus RX 350

2007 RX 350 loaded. Traded down from a BMW X5 3.0 with 125,000 miles. I thought buying a Lexus would be a good choice since my BMW had a ton of miles on it and the Lexus was much cheaper. The saying is true, you get what you pay for. Ive owned the Lexus for 3 weeks, 4 times in the shop. First a mirror, then the bluetooth (X2), and then the drivers seat. I weigh about 180 lbs (so its not me). This car is slow and sloppy. I will be trading it in as soon as get a little equity built up. Very disappointed.

Nice vehicle overall. Not as fast or good handling as the Acura RDX, but many more features/options. (Is Acura really a luxury brand?) Great price and service so far from the local dealer. Purchased a model with the optional 12 speaker stereo, but the sound is not impressive. Our RAV4 has better bass. The stereo will not support an iPhone through the USB port(despite being assured it would by the dealer - unbelievable). Gas mileage to date is approx 17 mpg in town.

  • Great Freeway Cruiser - 2009 Lexus RX 350

In the 4 months Ive owned the RX350 it has been from Ohio to California and back, with several 700 mile days in the driving mix. Fuel economy runs around 23-24 mpg at 80 mph+ cruising speeds. Its extremely comfortable, with nice performance, being very brisk off the line, but at speed shows its weight and aerodynamic drag. The car (suv?) is very solid, and most interior features are well thought out. It feels large inside, but I came out of a restaurant at lunch to find it parked between two Suburbans; then it looked tiny! Brakes are very good, but the steering is a bit numb and the suspension is soft with resulting "average" handling. Not a single problem at 6000 miles. Great vehicle

  • Nice but not great - 2010 Lexus RX 350

Drove the MB M class and Acura MDX and settled on the Lexus. Acura has superior nav system...the delay after every verbal command from the Lexus nav is extremely annoying and time consuming, but great for folks who have trouble mastering the nav I guess. Had a major rattle within the first week, very disappointing at this price. Quiet secure ride but no one could ever call it a "fun" drive.

  • First Experience with my 2009 RX350 FWD - 2009 Lexus RX 350

Purchased a 2009 RX350 FWD fully loaded with Mark Livingston sound system. I now have about 800 miles on it and so far we really enjoyed the vehicle. It is the right size for us and fun to drive. Took it to San Diego last weekend and great ride on I- 5 and off roads. Get in and out of traffic on demand. The salesman at the dealership is really professional and guide us through the leasing process in under 2-hours.

  • A fine family hauler - 2008 Lexus RX 350

Walking up to it is its own reward. Having the steering wheel slide out of the way when removing the key makes getting in and out all the easier. Put in the key and the seat, outside mirrors and steering wheel move back to one of two memorized locations. That first five seconds alone make the RX 350 better than my other rides. The all-wheel-drive keeps the tires locked to the pavement as the "killer corssover" eagerly accelerates under a heavy foot. With a minivan ride / height, you are not going to rail any corners. If you try, a bunch of gizmos conspire to take the spirit out of the drive. I suppose thats better than just flipping over but thats why it gets a 7 for performance.

  • Lexus love hate - 2010 Lexus RX 350

hi, i got the lexus rx 350 dec 09. It has the looks, design, tech. Speed that makes it outstanding. Lot of space. Love the mouse navigation controller. Seats are good, heating works but does not cool as per my liking steering is ok compared to BMW. Speed is ok but needs more time to ramp up. One issues I have is I am having a pain in the right leg after driving the vehicle for few hours and I get this every day. It starts at the bottom of the right leg in my toes and has become unbearable. I think it is due to the small space in the gas pedal are and it is uncomfortable. I never had this driving any other vehicle. Something is not right. Hate this pain, otherwise the car works great.

  • Nice ride - 2007 Lexus RX 350

This is our first RX, but our third Lexus. My wife LOVES "her" car. Certainly not a sedan, but I am impressed with the handling and ride from a SUV. MPG isnt bad given the peppy engine and AWD. For a vehicle of this caliber, I would have expected a better stereo system.

  • Quality issues for Lexus? - 2010 Lexus RX 350
    By -

Well Ive been watching the Lexus RX for quite a while now, after going from Mercedes and other luxury brands I decided to try with the 2010 RX. Ive owned this car for about 2 months, it drives smooth and the cabin is quiet. However my first impression from them is poor quality. I have noticed paint peeling on the interior, which they finally replaced and loose fittings and less in cabin wood from prior models. They also took away auto rain sensing on the base model which used to be there on my local base model. I love the way the car drives but there is definitely poor quality during the manufacture process on this one.
