  Beautiful in & out. Lexus thinks of too many great small details to list. Love the soft leather and real wood. MPG as advertised, averages 21 mpg.

  I never liked the RX300. It seemed a bit wimpy and handled very poorly. The 330 is a different vehicle. Better looking, more horsepower, better handling. Went to the dealership to look at a GS 470, but liked the RX better.

  Big Disappointment! - 2004 Lexus RX 330

  The Edmunds review couldnt be more wrong about the performance of the drive train and the "seamless shifting". 1) There is an annoying "clunk" when the car shifts gears (Dealer says Lexus is aware of this "condition" and that it is "normal" in the RX330). 2) Under mountain driving conditions, the car shifts in and out of passing gear (unless you downshift to 3rd). Lexus has a "fix" which is to "reburn the transmission".I cant tell that it made any difference whatsoever. 3) Finally, under mountain driving conditions, the RX330 seems less powerful than my 2001 RX300. This car is a big disappointment!

  The styling, interior, and luxury features are all substantially improved over RX300. Handling, turning/parking, cornering, overall power better too. Cruises at 80+ wonderfully. BUT, annoying manifold buzz (even after recall); brake rotors needed turning at 12K and 25K miles; transmission downshift lags badly at low speeds (i.e. accelerating suddenly from 15-20 MPH). Almost all units have 18" wheels with very expensive, short-lasting tires (mine are gone at 31K, $800+ to replace). I believe that quiet ride is sacrificed with the larger wheels and lower-profile tires. Lexus still cant get auto-climate control right - my 10- yr-old S500s is truly "set and forget".

  Traded in my BMW and the Lexus is so much better for me; more room, better handling, great gadgets, fun and comfortable to drive andd better view of the road.

  this is my dream!!!ive always wanted an SUV,ive researched a lot of cars but the RX330 was the 1st one i test drove and i immediately fell in love with the features and the smooth ride.its really expensive but no regrets,ive been drivin it for 1 1/2 mths now,...i adore the color,breakblue water!!!

  Just perfect. Handling , acceleration, smooth ride even on Chicagoland road,milage from galon on highway with suspension on "low" position, clearence under with "high" position and fantastic cargo door open/close operation from inside, remote or button on door.
