Improved over RX 300 (mostly!) - 2004 Lexus RX 330
By JG - March 20 - 11:20 pmThe styling, interior, and luxury features are all substantially improved over RX300. Handling, turning/parking, cornering, overall power better too. Cruises at 80+ wonderfully. BUT, annoying manifold buzz (even after recall); brake rotors needed turning at 12K and 25K miles; transmission downshift lags badly at low speeds (i.e. accelerating suddenly from 15-20 MPH). Almost all units have 18" wheels with very expensive, short-lasting tires (mine are gone at 31K, $800+ to replace). I believe that quiet ride is sacrificed with the larger wheels and lower-profile tires. Lexus still cant get auto-climate control right - my 10- yr-old S500s is truly "set and forget".

By c.d.c. - March 14 - 10:00 amthis is my dream!!!ive always wanted an SUV,ive researched a lot of cars but the RX330 was the 1st one i test drove and i immediately fell in love with the features and the smooth ride.its really expensive but no regrets,ive been drivin it for 1 1/2 mths now,...i adore the color,breakblue water!!!

By Ellie1960 - January 18 - 2:00 amToday I brought home my new RX330 and could not be happier! Prior to my purchase, I did a lot of research and compared it to the other SUVs in its class. All arrows pointed to the Lexus. However, the deal maker was the consumer ratings and comments. Ive heard nothing but great things about this SUV. After test driving, I was able to see it for myself. It looks as great as it drives. Not to mention... I feel pretty special in it!

By marylandstar - January 8 - 10:00 amThe only thing I would ask for would be a V-8. Dont use shiny armorall on the dash,it will cause real bad glare. Idrive this Suv alot and its Great no Problems. 40,000 miles since last sept when purchased only reg maintance.And much better service than american suvs like Lincoln.
