99 Lexus LS 400 - 1999 Lexus LS 400
By WMR - March 23 - 2:00 amBought the car with 49,000 miles on it. It has been an excellent car in every way. This is my 3rd LS 400 and I plan to buy another one when I sell this one. Each one has been better than the previous one!

A wonderful car - 1999 Lexus LS 400
By JC - February 13 - 10:26 amIve now owned my 99 LS for about 2.5 years. Ive driven the car about 20K per year since I got it and its really a remarkable riding and driving car. Its not a car of feeling as your almost numbly fixed to your seat. Once you drive other cars, youll really notice the exceptional quality of ride, solidity, and performance. This big car handles good too. This car is superlative when it comes to being practical. It costs a third less than a Jag, it has comfy room for 5, rides like a Lincoln, fast as a Mustang, a teen sound system, great gas mileage, looks great and half the cost of a Benz to maintain - still a bit pricey.

The best car out there! - 1998 Lexus LS 400
By Carolyn VanO - January 23 - 8:02 pmThe value in a LS 400 is amazing! It runs better than a new car. It has been very dependable. It takes bumps in the road like a full size Lexus. I tend to have a problem with motion sickness. The LS400 is so smooth that vibrations seem to be absorbed in the suspension and the car floats on the road. Even though ours is a 1998, it is road worthy. It is a great car!

Lexus is the best - 2000 Lexus LS 400
By Clint - January 10 - 11:03 amI bought this car for my wife. However, I love driving it when I can. I owned Volvos and Mercedes before, and there is no comparison. The Lexus is far superior to both, especially in the dependability area. We will drive this car for 10 years. No problems at all. We bought it with 40K, it now has 95K. Great car.

Me and my Lexus LS 400 - 1999 Lexus LS 400
By padevlin - November 20 - 2:46 amI just purchased this car about one week ago; it is the best car that I have owned during my 53 years of driving and I have driven just about all of them. I could not afford a new one; had to settle for a used one. It is in excellent shape for a 6 year old car. Heavy miles but in excellent condition. I cant decide which I like best: the design or the drive? It is a fabulous car and I am glad that I finally own one. It is a real thrill to put the pedal down and feel the surge of the powerful V8 after driving a V6 over the last 5 years.

Still #1 - 1998 Lexus LS 400
By LexusGuy - November 12 - 2:00 amAn extremely quite, but very sporty car. Sound system will impress even the most stubborn audiophiles. Non boastful yet beautiful, elegant exterior design. Ample leg and head room for those over 6 tall.

Quality,quality and boring - 1999 Lexus LS 400
By mid-lifer - November 12 - 2:00 amThe quality of this car is outstanding. In many ways better than its German rivals. I have had no problems at all with car. The dealer is the best I have come across. The down side is it is a bore to drive. After a drive up the Oregon coast I turned to my wife and said Im selling the car.

Sweet car - 1999 Lexus LS 400
By JTP - October 9 - 10:00 amAlmost everything about this car is perfect. The best ride of any vehicle I have ever been in, almost silent inside, yet it grips the road like a cat climbing a tree. Every detail has been thought of by the Toyota engineers. Interior feels luxurious to the point of opulence. Lush walnut trim, plush leather seats as comfortable as the best chair in your house. Getting into the car instantly relaxes you. Almost unheard of even in a full-size car nowdays: three adults can sit in the rear, and the one in the middle is actually comfortable. Engine is as powerful as it is quiet. How do they do that?
