On the outside, look for a new wheel design and smoked surrounding trim for the headlights and taillights. Inside, Lexus has added a memory function for the driver seat, a maintenance indicator light, a new storage compartment on the dash (for cars without the navigation system) and new trim highlights.

- Small rear seat and trunk, not much storage space, styling could be "tragically hip" by some accounts.

By Maylatht - June 20 - 2:00 amMy baby is so worth the cost of having him! Even with the increasing price of premium in the Bay Area. I cannot wait until Lexus comes out with the IS430! Theyd better not have just been toying with me in LA at the Auto Show! Thatll be a quantum leap. Id expect 10s in everything but gas. FYI: I got it in 2002, not 2003.

By pelindaba - February 1 - 10:00 amI have enjoyed driving this car.....0-60 in just under 7 seconds on one occasion! Plenty of zip and it handles very well. I think it is an underated car......only drawback is most of the colors are less than appealing. I am averging 22mpg.

I would die for a v8 coupe which is rumored to be coming out next summer *drools* I absolutely love the handling of this car the only downfall is the lack of power and I have a 5 speed manual! Also this car gets loose very easily be careful!

Only for the young at heart - 2004 Lexus IS 300
By Anghang - January 18 - 2:00 amThe handling on this car is so impressive. I guarantee you a smooth quiet ride even with a 17-inch alloy wheel. I love the interiors! ... no hard wood, nice aluminum pedals, chronograph-style instrumentations and 6-disc CD auto-changer with 8 speakers and 240W power. And the exterior design ... perfect. The first of its kind having white (smoked) lights on both front and rear. Plus the headlamps is high-intensity. Did I mention the fog lamps and the homelink tranceiver and the 8-way adjustable seats in front with 2 driver memory? Guess what, all of those things ... standard! So forget what the oldies like ... This car is for the young at heart.

Handling was far superior that anything else out there & i did purchase the Sport Design but the ride was comfortable. Not stiff to jitter your bones & not so soft that your driving a caddy. Safety equipment was standard,great power & may i say proportionate power. navigation system freely available, excellent service from Concord Lexus, great handling & ride quality, uniqueness & proportionate power made me a sucker for the IS 300. The Navigation controls are well placed & far better than BMW & MERC

By Ticket King - October 19 - 2:00 amThis is the most exciting car that I have ever owned. The cars performance is outstanding. I get compliments where ever I go, especially from young people. I had test driven the BMW 3 series first. Believe me there is no comparison. The BMWs interior is very uncomfortable. The quality of the leather is very rough and hard, and the seats are like sitting on a wooden bench. It doesnt ride as smooth as the IS,nor does it handle as well. I am 53 yrs. old and driving this car makes me feel like 23! ok 33! I guess you can say its like a LARGER form of Viagra.
