Dedicated hybrid with style - 2010 Lexus HS 250H
By tmckean - December 5 - 4:23 amWe got this to replace our IS 250 AWD. Seat comfort is wonderful as is the ride. Rear seating is entirely adequate for a smallish car. Trunk holds golf clubs and luggage and is adequate. Features associated with the NAV system just make the car a joy to be in. Very good visibility inside. Acceleration is adequate and even generates a bit of torque steer. The car is pretty cool looking and, in other words, a hybrid that satisfies someone who enjoys a nice car with a lot of features.

Where is the 35MPG touted? - 2010 Lexus HS 250H
By Bobby - June 30 - 10:00 pmJust been driving this car for 300 miles and have yet to see 35MPG. CVT is really noisy as you accelerate and not so smooth. The layout in ES350 is much better. There are missing buttons like AUDIO etc. No touch screen.

A versatile automobile - 2010 Lexus HS 250H
By mefistofeles - March 1 - 10:43 pmAt first when I bought this thing I hated it,coming from a Lexus GS 350. The power was comparatively anemic and the understeer, forget about it. However after a few weeks I adapted to the understeer and was able to make the car work for me. In fact Ive adapted to this car so well that a Ive actually hadd a few passengers tell me that the car felt rather sporty. The HS 250 certainly has some advantages over a long wheelbase V-6 like the GS 350 its a more compact car so it has a much tighter turning radius. Front wheel drive steering isnt as sharp as rear wheel drive but it allows the driver to be a little lazier in high speed turns, you simply wait for the car to be ready.
