Gods gift to car lovers - 2004 Lexus ES 330
By Adam Bajaj - April 3 - 2:00 amIts the best car I have yet to own. It beats my LS430 and my RX300. The comfort, the luxury, the class, the build, the color, the exterior....oh, just too sexy!

Best car I ever owned - 2004 Lexus ES 330
By exyrider - April 3 - 2:00 amIn the Lexus 330 I found what I was looking for. A high quality, reliable car with 5 star safety features. Im 61" and fit comfortably in both the front and back seats. The driver seat is well designed, and my back feels better just sitting in it. The interior reflects great attention to detail. The car accellerates smoothly and fully meets my handling expectations. While the exterior design may not turn other drivers heads, it is great value and comfort. It also gets good gas milage, and uses regular gas.

12 Years Old - still looks great and runs excellen - 2004 Lexus ES 330
By Steve G. - March 31 - 12:02 pmI purchased this in 2013 - one owner car who traded it in at the Lexus Dealership. I bought it with 78,000 miles on it and now has 163,000 miles - The paint is perfect, with some fading only on the rear bumper. A highly reliable car, runs smooth, comfortable, and gets up to 26mpg on the highway and about 20mpg around town. - Solid / I added Bluetooth (Parrot) and have put Michelin tires on it (they are the best for both ride comfort and low noise) - I do expect to get 300K - runs as good now with 163K as it did with 78K. Great car - highly recommend it.

Excellent And Bland - 2004 Lexus ES 330
By David P - March 29 - 10:00 amI agree the ES does not offer GT sedan performance. Kick in another $30K, if thats what you want and get the 430. I do not feel that the power or the transmission cause any safety problems. You can lock in a lower gear ratio, if the situation calls for it and the engine will give you what you need. I dont care about Porche, G35 Coupe, GT Sedan performance any more. Thats why I bought the ES. If you dont care to have high performance handling and throttle/transmission response and if you do want a quiet comfortable ride with very nice interior appointments, excellent sound system and plenty of luxury features, this car is a great buy.

I need your feedback! - 2004 Lexus ES 330
By niceandfunny9 - February 20 - 2:00 amPurchased new..right off the truck..foolish move..didnt test drive it..find that transmission does not shift properly. Hesitates/holds back from first through second gear. The rest of the package is awesome. Only 1,000 miles on it and Lexus says the car is fine??????? Would love to hear back from other owners about transmission shifting concerns

A good choice - 2004 Lexus ES 330
By MP2 - February 20 - 2:00 amVery nice car for the price. Very solid driving. Fuel mileage is pretty good, also. I like the overall look and feel of the car. If you want the luxury car without huge sticker shock, the ES330 is a nice place to start.

Good, but not great. - 2004 Lexus ES 330
By My First Lexus - February 15 - 4:30 amThis is a very smooth, quiet car. The performance is good for a car that is just billed as a luxury sedan. The fuel economy is great: 17/29 actual mpg. After 9,000 miles, I have no complaints about the quality of the car. My wife had a flat tire in the rain 900 miles from home. She called the 1- 800 roadside service. A local dealership called within 10 minutes and was there in 20 minutes. The driver called twice in route to assure her he was on the way. We received a follow-up phone call and a customer satisfaction survey.

Class Action Needed for Trans - 2004 Lexus ES 330
By JGawrysiak - February 8 - 10:00 amIve written Lexus Customer (NON) Satisfaction 3 times--theyve called me back twice only to tell me the transmission is "operating as designed". Funny they would say that automatically without driving the car. Service writers and salespeople at the dealership know theres a problem and say there is no fix. SM told me that Lexus said to use premium gas and it may help--so they KNOW theres a problem. Ive counted 21 complaints on this site. Is anyone working a Class Action, or had any luck getting some compensation in the way of a buy-back? Please e-mail me your experiences and the actions youve taken and maybe we can get something done. JGawry@aol.com
