My Kia Forte has won me over - 2010 Kia Forte
By chickyflyaz - June 9 - 2:00 amI had been driving a 2009 Nissan Altima prior to purchasing this Kia. I had originally set out only wanting another Altima but could not get a good enough deal. A friend talked to me into checking out the Kia dealership where I test drove the Forte. It was affordable and while I was disappointed it wasnt my first choice, I liked it enough to buy it. 3 weeks later I absolutely love it! I drove that car for 2 1/2 weeks before I had to put gas in the tank! I love the way it looks and the comfortable interior. I would like a little more get up and go, but it does get moving eventually.

By Car Lover - May 17 - 6:00 amI have the forte ex model with the fuel economy package.Package has five speed automatic and silica tires smart alternator and electric power steering.First tank of gas was 38.37 mpg.This is one of the nicest compact cars i have ever driven and i am very impressed with the overall quality and fit and finish of this new kia product.Car handles well and is very quiet.I dont believe there is any other make car that has so many standard features at forte price point.Car has anti lock brakes traction control stability control satelite radio full air bag package,and many more features.If reliability is good on this new model which i believe it will be kia has a hit in the compact class.

By Nicole - May 7 - 3:20 amI traded in a 2005 Lincoln LS V8 for this and I was amazed at the pick up that this 4 cylinder has. I needed something with better gas mileage and I am getting between 35-40 mpg, which is roughly double from the Lincoln. If you arent too crazy about the exterior design, the interior might change your mind. It has a very young and sporty feel and is rather comfortable with all the standard features. I am happy with the trade and look forward to saving big bucks on gas and maintanence!

By emtownsend - February 9 - 3:50 amI now have about 300 miles on my dark cherry metallic EX. I went with the standard EX package with auto plus the wheels and sunroof. I am very pleased with this purchase. I have done a mix of highway and city driving that netted about 30.1 MPG on the first tank. Not bad! This car is essentially fully loaded and drives like a much more expensive car. I would highly recommend this car to anyone. From interior noise (great), to ride (smooth), to exterior looks (great and gets compliments), this car is a gem. I hate to use qualifiers, but at this price, it is REALLY a gem.

great little kia - 2010 Kia Forte
By carleyd - November 21 - 11:16 amI got my kia when they first hit the Parkersburg lot, and I have loved it! I live in WV and we have had a lot snow this year and my forte goes great! The traction control has been a big help on icy conditions and all the extra features just add to the wonderfulness that is my forte. It is a bit rough over bumps, but thats most small cars Ive driven.

Was about to give up on the whole deal. went by the Kia dealer just as the Fortes where showing up on the lots. Drove it and bought it so many standard options. Kia hav come a long way they put the others to shame. My son drives 100 miles a day highway 35mpg average. Now if they would just offer a turbo option

By kdominy - July 28 - 4:36 amOk, I paid $16K, without the equity from my trade, it would have been $17.5K including all taxes and fees. Now tell me another car that gives you the following at that price. Full steering wheel controls, pwr windows/locks, keyless, cd/mpw, flash drive, ipod connectivity, sirius, 5 speed auto tranny, ac, cc, etc. Oh, 5 yr/60 month b2b, 10 yr/100K pwrtrain. I have more headroom than I did in my Tundra, 40 mpg on the hwy, and a very reliable and well handling suspension. Nice pep on that engine also!

Great car - 2010 Kia Forte
By Richard - July 15 - 11:26 amI recently picked up the forte SX. I guess there is a very limited number of leather packages out there and I could not pick one up. But I did get the sun roof. This car is great. Awesome feel when driving. Takes corners pretty tight. Engine has enough go for what I need. Car looks awesome with the 17 tires.

By Robert - July 5 - 2:20 pmKia has definatly come a long way. This car has amazing handling and great power I did not even realize it was a 4 cylinder. I am 62 and have an enormous amount of legroom. Everything in the interior is easily accessible. The look is amazing it will be a great replacement to the Spectra. And 40 MPG cant ask for anything more.

By metgirl6 - June 29 - 5:50 amWe have had this car less than a week but I love it. Its fun to drive, very smooth and quiet. We got the standard EX package with the fuel package. Gas mileage has been about 30 mpg on the first tank. We looked at every car out there and this one seemed to have it all. I highly recommend this vehicle.
