  Did the cash for clunkers. Drove Honda Mazda Toyota chevy ect. Was about to give up on the whole deal. went by the Kia dealer just as the Fortes where showing up on the lots. Drove it and bought it so many standard options. Kia hav come a long way they put the others to shame. My son drives 100 miles a day highway 35mpg average. Now if they would just offer a turbo option

  Ok, I paid $16K, without the equity from my trade, it would have been $17.5K including all taxes and fees. Now tell me another car that gives you the following at that price. Full steering wheel controls, pwr windows/locks, keyless, cd/mpw, flash drive, ipod connectivity, sirius, 5 speed auto tranny, ac, cc, etc. Oh, 5 yr/60 month b2b, 10 yr/100K pwrtrain. I have more headroom than I did in my Tundra, 40 mpg on the hwy, and a very reliable and well handling suspension. Nice pep on that engine also!

  Kia has definatly come a long way. This car has amazing handling and great power I did not even realize it was a 4 cylinder. I am 6’2” and have an enormous amount of legroom. Everything in the interior is easily accessible. The look is amazing it will be a great replacement to the Spectra. And 40 MPG can’t ask for anything more.

  We have had this car less than a week but I love it. Its fun to drive, very smooth and quiet. We got the standard EX package with the fuel package. Gas mileage has been about 30 mpg on the first tank. We looked at every car out there and this one seemed to have it all. I highly recommend this vehicle.

  I can only echo the comments by Rockin RN -- I agree with everything except that I think its a little harsh on the bumps, but thats to be expected since its a sports car. The 2.4 engine is very responsive from the start and even after its up to speed. The gas mileage is good so far (Ive only had it for about three weeks) and Im averaging 26 MPG combined city/highway. Ive also got the Racing Red, automatic and it gets a lot of compliments. Kia did a great job with it and with their warranty its a winner so far.

  Got my new Forte EX and I love it. I just keep finding more and more that I like about it. I think this is the type of car that can turn around Kias bad reputation. THe fact that its inexpensive and is flat out fun is awesome. I love the plethera of options. I have found the places where Kia cut costs and used cheaper things, and overall, I think the car was made well, and designed well. I think that once word spreads about Kia being reputable, this will be Kias top seller, and maybe top seller in its class. Better than the Civic, and cheaper? It just has to prove reliability to me and I will call it a home run.

  Awesome pep on the SX. best features for the price ie.. bluetooth, steering wheel audio controls, fog lights, metal pedals, leather wrapped steering wheel, cruise control, standard sirius radio etc..

  Great Car for the money - 2010 Kia Forte

  I bought this car 5 days after seeing it. I was skeptical at first because of the kia reputation of being cheap, but after doing research and actually going for a test drive I was blown away by this car. it is responsive, the sport tuned suspension just hugs the turns. acceleration is great, and the gas mileage is excellent. Kia finally got it right with this one. If you are looking at this car take a look at the competition and you be surprised that they cant touch Kias value on this one. I will say that this trim level comes with almost everything standard, I got the added sunroof, but in hindsight I should have also purchased the auto dimmer for the review. Just food for thought.
