I have owned other Jeeps but this was my first Wrangler. I promised my wife a convertible some day and she loves the Jeep. Great purchase. It is not the most comfortable ride for long highway drives but it is acceptable. It is hard to get the kids in their car seats. The fuel economy is not what it should be based upon existing technology. IT IS a fun vehicle, and a great short distance commuter. It handles the back roads and off-roads with equal ability. If youre afraid to get a scratch on it buy a Lexus and stay on the highway. IF you want a ride for bad weather, hunting conditions, and off-roading recreation...the Wrangler is a good fit.

theres nothing like driving a jeep, and this is the best, looking, rideing, feeling, offroad capable jeep ever made. hands down.

Great stock but better with 4 inch suspension lift, 6 KC lights, and 33X12.50 mud terrains. We bought it used with 2,000 miles on it. Use it everyday and even in mud holes on the weekends. Once we get a "family" SUV were going to keep adding on. Its a Jeep thing, some people will never really understand.

I test drove the wrangler X 5 speed and found it to be civilized enough as a daily driver. Driving this jeep here in Southern Ca., I noticed that other jeep owners would wave at me, this is neat, and the classic round headlights make the Wrangler look real classy. The new heavy duty 5 speed manual transmission feels quite substantial ( a little industrial grade), and the clutch is nice and light for this vehicle. The biggest surprise for me, which is beyond expectation is the fuel economy. I get 19 mpg on a 35 mile round trip on mixed highway / city drive with speeds less than 65 mph.

Bought this used Jeep with only 13,000 miles. The ride is very soft and seems to sway from side to side more than other cars. Avg 21 mpg on and off road combo. AC works very well and the heater is unreal. In 20 degree weather, the heater was blowing hot air in less than half mile! Have not tested the Jeeps ability to get agressive offroad, but on moderate trails, it has no problems. On the fly to 4wd is a piece of cake, but you need to be stopped or at 2 mph for 4wdLow. The turning radius is really small. Combo CD and radio with rear speakers is quite nice, but the volumn must really be increased at highway speeds. Hardly use 5th gear unless on level road at 65+

Love the Jeep and dual top group, easy to work on and with the lockers this thing will go anywhere. Lifted it up 6" and added some 35" tires. The new suspension lift actually makes it ride better than stock. The Rubicon is the model to buy. Love the 7 speaker sound system.

I just bought this in Florida and drove it up to NY. It drove like a champ. I love this Jeep. I have alot of improvement suggestions below, which might make you think I hate it, but I dont. Its fun to drive. Its good looking. Its cool. Its practicle if you live in the snowy section of this world. And the other day, a woman waved at me. Go figure? Maybe woman really do like Jeeps. Plus, next to a dog, it really is a mans favorite plaything. (not including woman, of course) ;)

I have had more fun with my Jeep Wrangler than any other car I have wned. I bought the solar yellow and it turns heads everwhere I go. I have the X model with the in line 6 cyl engine. I hve heard rummors that the in line 6 will be replaced with the v-6. i think that would be a mistake to to this.

If you are looking for an all out performer in its class this is this vehichle for you! Excellent quality, decent ride quality in town & on the highway. Will go almost anywhere you point it offroad. It is an icon dating back to the original Willys.Soft top is adequate, but not that easy to put up.If youre looking for a convertible with ease this is not it.
