Overview & Reviews
An AM/FM/CD stereo and a tilt steering wheel are now standard on all 2004 Jeep Wrangler models. A new aluminum wheel design is standard on Sahara models and optional on Sport models. Right-hand-drive versions are also available for fleet utility service. A Columbia Edition option package is also new for 2004.
- Cheap, fun to drive, classic styling, go-anywhere capability.
- Soft top a handful to manipulate, difficult ingress-egress, slow steering, bouncy suspension on the street.

The keeper - 2004 Jeep Wrangler
By CJwheeling - January 24 - 8:10 pmThis is my 14th jeep. CJs, TJs, Cheerokees have all been in my stable at one time or another. Jeep has finally made the perfect vehicle for me. Quieter, relatively spacious and with the same potential as short wheelbase TJs. I currently own a built 1985 CJ7, and after test driving the Unlimited on a whim, I bought one two weeks later. Upsides: Storage, potential, comfort (except for the seats) Downsides: Seats still suck, soft top is a pain to put up and down by yourself.

Wrangler Rubicon: Built for Offroad Use - 2004 Jeep Wrangler
By GIJOEP - January 22 - 2:00 amOverall the vehicle has performed in an outstanding fashion. The Rubicon is really designed for off-road use. It performs extremely well over difficult terrain. It has excellent ground clearance and does not require a lift for most off-road uses. It comes standardard with Goodyear MT tires that afford excellent traction. The 4:1 low range gearing permits this vehicle to attack a 60 degree incline without wheel slippage. The locking front and rear differentials permit travel in the most difficult terrains.

Nothing better than a Jeep - 2004 Jeep Wrangler
By Jeep Fan - December 6 - 10:00 amThis is my third Wrangler Ive owned. By far, it is one of the most fun vehicles produced today. Top off in the summer, 4WD in the winter. Fuel economy is terrible, but you cant expect much out of a tank with a tent. New top design has made it one of the quietest Wranglers yet.

FUN TO DRIVE....GET ONE - 2004 Jeep Wrangler
By BIMMER323 - November 30 - 10:00 amThis is my first Jeep ever. Its a black, soft-top Rocky Mountain edition. Sharp looking with big wheels and tires. Great package! It has great winter capabilities and is fun in the sun. This SUV has it all! Its our family toy. My three sons love it. Having an awsome time this summer. I cant wait to use it in the winter. Should have gotten one sooner. I also drive a 2003 745Li BMW; a great car but lacks the fun,free-spirited feeling you get from a Wrangler. You dont buy for its creature comforts. Its a JEEP.... HAVE SOME FUN!

By KimmyB77 - September 16 - 2:00 amI love my Jeep Wrangler X. It is the ultimate off road vehicle, and fun to drive on the street too. It has never given me any trouble, and is very reliable.

No Frills About It - 2004 Jeep Wrangler
By vivalafleur - July 31 - 10:00 amThe Jeep Wrangler X is far from a luxury vehicle, and someone who is planning on purchasing one should know this. That said, there are few cars out there you will find more fun than a Jeep. Fuel economy isnt great, especially with larger tires and other off-road upgrades, however those who own Wranglers are usually a different breed of consumer, and the pleasure of having a Jeep of their own is worth more than any $2.00 a gallon gas guzzler. Overall a fun car, and I think everyone should have one, at one time or another.
