Overview & Reviews
An AM/FM/CD stereo and a tilt steering wheel are now standard on all 2004 Jeep Wrangler models. A new aluminum wheel design is standard on Sahara models and optional on Sport models. Right-hand-drive versions are also available for fleet utility service. A Columbia Edition option package is also new for 2004.
- Cheap, fun to drive, classic styling, go-anywhere capability.
- Soft top a handful to manipulate, difficult ingress-egress, slow steering, bouncy suspension on the street.

Florida Vehicle - 2004 Jeep Wrangler
By TOOLMAN - March 19 - 2:00 amBrought it home and removed the top on New Years Day...still topless! Only way to go. Surprised on how nice the ride is compared to the older models.

Unbelievable - 2004 Jeep Wrangler
By Trogdor - March 9 - 10:00 amWith out a doubt the best Jeep DC has ever turned out. Its offroad capabilities are insane. On road fuel economy becomes a problem especially b/c of the gearing but one cannot deny the fun factor in this car. In the interior space is at a premium and this car was definetly designed for two people. There is very few things you cannot do in this vehicle.

Jeep Fan - 2004 Jeep Wrangler
By unlimited - January 31 - 2:23 amThis is my third Jeep, and Im planning on trading in my current Jeep and buying the 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited this Fall. A Jeep is not a metal box on wheels, its a reflection on life and its pleasures.

This is a classic... - 2004 Jeep Wrangler
By Stick - December 13 - 10:00 amI use my Rubicon as both a daily driver AND a weekend off-roader. These guys have done their homework...this is destined to go down as one of the great Jeeps. The vehicle feels very solid, and is prepared to tackle any obstacle. It is a lot quieter than I expected, and the ride is smooth on the highway (for a Jeep). It is rugged and fun, and one of the few vehicles left that can be easily worked on...though I have yet to have any problems at 3000 miles. I have NEVER enjoyed a vehicle this much. If you want soft fuzzy comfort, go buy a Mercedes. This is not for the latte-drinking suburban soccer moms. All meat, no fluff.

TJ-8 - 2004 Jeep Wrangler
By eatjeep - November 23 - 6:06 pmRoom for a weekend trip without a top rack, cant wait for the aftermarket to catch up. Removable rear seat is a snap. I wish the hard top was easier to take off (heavy). Im hooked, and Im keeping this baby.

Jeeper 4 Life - 2004 Jeep Wrangler
By Jeep Rowdy - October 14 - 11:43 pmIve had 4wd pick-ups and other vehicles, but this is my first Jeep and I absolutely love it. Its boxy, bouncy, and loud - but if I wanted a Cadillac I would have bought one! Ive got a 2" lift, 33" MT mud tires (great for off-road, but Ill be switching to Silent Armors when these are worn out) and lots of chrome accessories. Did I mention I got the electric lime green color? I can always find her even in the most crowded parking lot.
