Overview & Reviews
An AM/FM/CD stereo and a tilt steering wheel are now standard on all 2004 Jeep Wrangler models. A new aluminum wheel design is standard on Sahara models and optional on Sport models. Right-hand-drive versions are also available for fleet utility service. A Columbia Edition option package is also new for 2004.
- Cheap, fun to drive, classic styling, go-anywhere capability.
- Soft top a handful to manipulate, difficult ingress-egress, slow steering, bouncy suspension on the street.

Unlimited is the One - 2004 Jeep Wrangler
By EddieGee - August 12 - 11:36 amI love the Wrangler Unlimited. I believe that this is the first year they came out. The longer wheel base and extra cargo make this a more versatile Jeep than the standard Wrangler. The 15" wheels are substantial but could be bigger but the longer wheel base makes this a solid drive on or off-road. The straight six is more powerful than advertised or at least it feels that way. This is a fun drive with the Sunrider Top (front seat only pull back on top). I may get one of the newer Unlimiteds as well. Great ride with the only drawback for me being 16mpg city and 21mpg highway.

Still the same - 2004 Jeep Wrangler
By koolbreeze40 - April 20 - 10:00 amAs long as you understand its capabailities on road its no problem. Dont turn corners at a high speed or the tires will let you know. But take it to the woods or training area and smile from ear to ear. I have to purchase a winch because the mud holes that M1A1 Tanks leave are deep.

First Jeep - 2004 Jeep Wrangler
By fireguy CO - March 26 - 2:00 amThis has been the most enjoyable vehicle I have purchased in years. It does great on the highway and performs very well in all traffic situation. Off road it is nearly perfect . So far it has not been stuck or bogged down. We are looking forward to going off road alot more next season. We have installed F and R steel bumpers, purchased a winch & exterior light guards. The last addition to our Rubicon will be a 2"or 3" Skyjacker lift kit.

Jeep for fun - 2004 Jeep Wrangler
By jpt0001 - March 26 - 2:00 amIf you want a fun automobile, the Jeep Wrangler Sport is for you. The kids love it. Its fun to drive, and easy to park. It is built like a tank. Sold steel construction, with a sturdy roll bar. Probably one of the safest convertables that you could ever own.
