Overview & Reviews
For 2010, the Jeep Grand Cherokee's Overland trim level has been discontinued, as have the 4.7-liter V8 and diesel engine options. Also, the lineup sees a shuffling of minor features among surviving trim levels.
- True off-road capability, decent on-pavement agility given its off-road prowess, incredible performance from the SRT8 model.
- Cramped backseat, limited cargo space, a true gas hog with the V8, underpowered and inefficient V6, bouncy highway ride.

Its Still a Jeep! - 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee
By Samuel - November 10 - 5:06 amMy family has been buying Jeeps for years now and has had generally pretty good luck with them. Our 2010 Grand Cherokee Laredo is no exception. Before believing the professional reviewers who claim the 3.7 liter V6 engine is underpowered, I suggest you drive one and decide for yourself. Mine has plenty of get up & go although the mileage could be better. My dealer was doubling the manufacturers rebate, meaning I saved over $10,000 off of MSRP before they looked at my trade-in.

In the shop after 3 days - 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee
By mike - June 2 - 10:00 amPurchased my JGC used w/28,000 miles on it. A couple days later engine light comes on. Dealer replace 02 sensor and on the way home it goes on again. Its been in the shop going on day #3 and now they say computer is shot. I dont think they no whats wrong with it. Im starting to think this was a bad purchase. At least it looks good.

I love my first Jeep! - 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee
By tolkienpwns - February 28 - 6:39 amI bought this Jeep a little over 2 years ago and i absolutely love it! I love the ride and the way it handles and the build quality is pretty good. The only things I dont like about it is the gas mileage (average about 15 combined) and the front speakers have always been a little fuzzy. The low tire pressure gauge is a little too touchy also.

My third Grand Cherokee - 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee
By naughty0519 - December 14 - 12:46 pmBought the Limited with the 5.7 Ltr hemi (not an option in the Edmunds drop down menu). After owning a 95 and 99, decided to go back to my old friend. So glad I did!

Auto Off Lights - 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee
By Bamalady - January 19 - 7:23 pmThis is my only disappointment with my first Jeep. The auto off for lights is not standard and cannot be added. I havent had to pay attention to turning off lights for YEARS. This could have been a deal breaker if I had realized prior to purchase.

Surprise, Surprise - 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee
By Mr. Wright - March 27 - 6:50 amThis is my fifth Jeep and my 4th Grand Cherokee. I want something a little more fuel efficent so I opted for a 6cyc. Had a 2007 Limited with V8. Burned a lot of gas. 2010 Limited only comes with Hemi. Instead I opted for the X package and am surprised at the performance of the 6cycl. It has just as much pick up, one of the quietest ride of any jeep I have owned and handling is smooth and nimble. I love the MY GIG system and many of the other creature comforts that come with the X package I have only had it for about two week and so far I am not seeing a significant difference in the Gas mileage but too soon to tell.
