Overview & Reviews
Isuzu has made a few changes this year to make the Rodeo more appealing to SUV shoppers. First off, there's a new range-topping 3.5-liter V6 that makes 250 horsepower. Last year's 3.2-liter V6 has a new home in the base model; the four-cylinder engine has been dropped. Other alterations this year include a new Sound Package, a new Color Package and a new tire-pressure monitoring system.
- Stylish exterior, powerful new V6, great powertrain warranty.
- Cheap interior pieces, flaccid suspension, uncomfortable front seats, questionable build quality.

Love it! - 2004 Isuzu Rodeo
By sc rodeo - April 23 - 5:03 amMy fourth Isuzu SUV. Bought it new in 04. This ride has given me more than my moneys worth. Ive always liked the looks, the performance and the reliability,- no unpleasant surprises. Predictable maintenance history and a compatible vehicle for rack systems, hitch systems, etc. Its flexible for carrying all sorts of cargo. Have put 112k miles on this thing and if it dies tomorrow, Im still be glad I bought it.

By Sandra Munn - March 21 - 10:00 amI love the perfomance of my Isuzu Rodeo. It drives very smooth. Very comfortable and sporty. My vechicle is very reliable and I wouldnt trade it in except for another Isuzu Rodeo.

Frenchs Review - 2004 Isuzu Rodeo
By John French - March 21 - 10:00 amThe rear Passenger doors need to open wider. The seats needs more lumbar support and seat inclination needs adjustment. Mine, a 2003 Rodeo, needs a bigger console. My pistol barely fits in the console, let alone any extra mags or ammo. A/C works great! The suspension needs to be stiffer and upgraded before doing any off roading. Overall the Rodeo is an excellent product for the money.

gas guzzzzzler - 2004 Isuzu Rodeo
By hmmm - November 23 - 2:00 amThe ride is smooth and quiet. The seats are comfortable and there is plenty of room. I noticed the bouncy ride on rough pavement. Very bad on gas mileage. I would recommend the Rodeo if gas mileage is no concern!!

Good choice - 2004 Isuzu Rodeo
By Antoine - July 29 - 11:30 amSince I have bought this vehicle there have been some things that I have been dissapointed with like the fuel economy, but overall I would say it is a good buy for the price compared to other SUVs in its class.

Get Rid Of It - 2004 Isuzu Rodeo
By PEddie - July 29 - 5:56 amMushy ride, feels unsafe; REDUCED POWER light randomly comes on, effectively disabling the car, dangerous if youre not in your driveway when it happens; essentially you cannot count on it when you need it.

simplistic yet functional - 2004 Isuzu Rodeo
By J. Tan - July 18 - 2:00 amIts functional and simplistic. Maybe it was the ease of getting in and out. Maybe it just makes you feel cool. I dont know. I drove it a while ago and would hard pressed to describe why I liked it so much. The suspension could be better but I usually drive in stop and go traffic. The only time I really tax a suspension is accelerating off a steep parking lot down onto a street at an angle. I dont think a soft suspension is bad as along as youre not rocking side to side.
