This Year's Model Updates:

The G35 is Infiniti's new entry-level luxury sport sedan. Aimed at buyers who would otherwise choose an Audi A4, BMW 3 Series or Lexus IS 300, the G35 offers impressive performance and comfort for a price that's less than most of the competition's.

Pros:
  • Powerful V6, balanced and capable handling, roomy cabin, reasonable price.
Cons:
  • No manual transmission available yet for the sedan, average interior material quality.

  • Has lots of pedal - 2003 Infiniti G35

Quick, easy cruiser, but gear down, get the revs up and it will fly. Solid cornering on back New England roads, tracks well, even on rippling surfaces. Good sized cabin and trunk, adds usable things competitor BMW doesnt. Solid value and a lot of go for the money.

  • G 35, highly recommend. - 2003 Infiniti G35

Had the car just over a year, absolutely no problems. Great performance combined with a very comfortable ride. Milage could be a bit better, about 24 highway, but thats the cost of such great performance! Traded a CLK 320, the Infinity is definately the better car.Would recommend it to anyone who appreciates a fine performance auto.

This car is just amazing, going 100mph feeld the same as going 20 mph, ride is pretty smooth but sometimes there are some annoying noises, other then that the car is just great and gives me about 20-23 mpg, mostly city driving and i do drive this car hard, it is really fun to drive.

  • Good car but too close to Altima - 2003 Infiniti G35

Pros: The engine is great and it is a genuine sports sedan. Also, Infiniti reliability is excellent. Cons: It is too close to the Altima in looks. Infiniti simply cannot get the luxury brand image concept right. This car looks like a different trim of the Altima and anyone who says otherwise is simply being fooled by the better looking headlights and grill. And the upcoming G35 coupe looks like a long- wheelbase version of the new 350Z. If you are going to charge a premium for a luxury brand, you should make sure that the brands prestige and exclusivity are protected by a lineup of cars that are different from your economy cars.

  • The COUPE Arrives - 2003 Infiniti G35

Believe it or not there is a dealership that has a coupe on the showroom floor (not the prototype either!) Modern Infiniti in Greensboro NC has a desert platinum, premium/aero package with nav. thats available to view and soon to drive! The car is even better looking in person than in print/internet. Great lines and personality. The headlights look good. The aero package (ie spoiler) looks excellent on this car, a lot more so than on the sedan. The interior is great with comfortable seats and well-laid out controls and gauges. Oh yeah and when you start the engine, the perfect combination of purr and growl.

a premium luxury sport sedan. While I normally turn cars in every year or two, this one will be a keeper. My G35 is a fully loaded rear wheel drive sports sedan that rivals the likes of the 5 series BMW, and the GS series Lexus for much less money. Performance is incredible with a 6.1 0-60. Handling is the best that I have ever driven ; period. Fit and finish was flawless with exception of a small ding from the dealer lot. The nav system has more features than I expected. Rear seats recline with adjustable head rests. Dual climate zones and a Bose 200 watt premium system keep the comfort high. No, I am not an employee of Infiniti... just a thrilled owner.

  • Not quite as good as they say. - 2003 Infiniti G35

This car has the performance, but there are some inherent problems. 1. The headlights jiggle (very noticeable on rear of the car in front of you at night.) 2. Lots of interior squeeks. 3. Scary electrical problems. And the dealership I purchased it from (Thousand Oaks Infinity) has really let me down. I asked them what was causing the eletrical problems? "We dont know" . And as for the jiggling headlights...they dont want to admit that its a problem, even though it does it on all of the G35 Sedans on the lot. My wife has a Coupe. Its perfect. If I had to do it over, Id get the Lexus. Even though its slower.

  • Best Ride Since My 65 Vette - 2003 Infiniti G35

This car brings the fun back to driving! It is bringing me the best time behind the wheel since my 65 vette 327/365 hp. The car handles better than the wifes Z3 and has a set of rear seats to boot.
