Overview & Reviews
Sedans get standard heated outside mirrors, heated front seats and, on leather-equipped six-speed models only, a four-way power passenger seat and a limited-slip differential. Other changes include a standard tire-pressure monitoring system, Low Emissions Vehicle status and a revised front console with an additional cupholder on leather-equipped six-speed coupes. 2004 also sees the addition of an all-wheel-drive sport sedan to the G35 lineup.
- Powerful V6, balanced and capable handling, roomy cabin, reasonable price.
- Average interior materials quality, touchy brakes.

Good, with some faults - 2004 Infiniti G35
By CarGuy - October 17 - 9:56 pmThe 2004 Infiniti G35X with AWD offers tight steering and a relatively smooth ride, a combo that is often hard to come by. The pickup is also somewhat impressive. The seats are comfortable and supportive, though not quite large enough in the front. The trunk space is not adequate and the BOSE CD stereo is not what one should expect. Also, the AC and Seat warmers are not up to par

Best Car Ive Ever Owned... - 2004 Infiniti G35
By jhanlon475 - October 16 - 10:00 amOf course I have to be fair and admit that I bought it to replace a Honda Civic with 100,000+ miles, and that Civic had replaced a Volkswagen Fox with 130,000 miles. I have been referring to the Infiniti as my first adult car. It met my criteria for an "adult car" (it had four doors)and my wifes limitations which were few ("you can buy anything you want so long as it has four wheel drive"). There were only a few cars that were ever in the running. The Audi A4 was out because we had two friends who lived through Audi quality issues (failing ignition coils). In the end it was the BMW 330XI vs. the Infiniti G35X. The Infiniti was just a nicer car for the money.

Above Average Ride - 2004 Infiniti G35
By Phil - July 8 - 10:40 amBought this car for $13,500 Cdn with 85K kms on it. Took it immediately to a recommended aftermarket performance shop and dropped another $3000 for a new clutch, tune up, air intake, exhaust, fluids, etc. My opinion of this vehicle mirrors the majority of the comments. Its fast, luxurious, and reliable - but its best feature by far is its value. BMW, Lexus, & Audi simply cant touch this car for the same price. Although I have a few performance goodies on it, I still surprise many vehicles costing a whole lot more. As a used car value, the G35 is definitely one of the best out there. Is it as good as the German cars - maybe you should ask the BMW drivers who look at my tail lights.

impressive - 2004 Infiniti G35
By NOBimmer - June 27 - 2:00 amCompared several similar $$ models and the G felt the best. Overall, car drives great just 850 miles so far. Now I dont mind staying late at work to drive the more open roads.

If you like a sport car, this is it - 2004 Infiniti G35
By T-ONE - June 27 - 2:00 amIt feels like a sport car, real fun to drive. However be prepared to pay for your fun: 15 miles per galon like Durango. Last snow in New York have proved that G-35 can handle it very well, just keep VDC OFF. Very uncomfortable stereo and climate controls, first time in my life I had to read manual to understand it.
