This Year's Model Updates:

The G35 is Infiniti's new entry-level luxury sport sedan. Aimed at buyers who would otherwise choose an Audi A4, BMW 3 Series or Lexus IS 300, the G35 offers impressive performance and comfort for a price that's less than most of the competition's.

Pros:
  • Powerful V6, balanced and capable handling, roomy cabin, reasonable price.
Cons:
  • No manual transmission available yet for the sedan, average interior material quality.

This car is incredible, it doesnt have V8 power however it is very quick out of the hole and is really fast for a V6. If it only had more horsepower it would be scary and even more fun! The VDC on this vehicle is something I honestly feel should be mandatory to have on every vehicle built! I have driven this vehicle in the snow and it just will not lose control with the VDC on! You dont hear enough about the safety of this car.

Test drove this car looking for an Acura TL. Was instantly impressed with the G over the TL. This car is very fun to drive. It is smooth around town but can really go when you want it to. Feels like a V8. Only issues are they eat up tires and brakes too quick. Definitely get the Bose system if you have the choice. Overall a great car for the money.

great car and fun to drive. Seats are extremely comfortable and the exhaust sounds awesome. IMPROVEMENTS- the low fuel light comes on with about 3 gallons left in the tank and you can not seem to fill the tank because it cuts off the pump early (fuel economy 19-21 MPG could be better) The tires are not very good with the 17 wheels. I would recommend some MICH PILOT SPORTS. Also, the darn passenger seatbelt is constantly banging into the B pillar when no one is in the seat causing an annoying rattle. AND-when shifting the automatic manually from first to second there is an annoying delay/hestitation.

It has been a pleasure to own. No problems. Although the front wheels are constantly in need of cleaning due excessive brake dust.

  • Best Sports Sedan ever driven - 2003 Infiniti G35

I just bought this car about 2 weeks ago and I have never had so much fun in my life. The car handles like a BMW or Porsche and I didnt even get the sport package. The acceleration and torque on this car is massive and the braking is excellent. I got the Navigation System and it is one of the coolest gadgets I have ever seen. I recommend this car to anyone.

  • Great Sport/Lux Car - 2003 Infiniti G35

We just purchased our black on black G35 and love it. We test drove the Audi A4(cheap interior), the Volvo S60(cheap interior and the engine sounded like a chainsaw), the Lexus ES(very good car, but it looks just like a Camry), the Lexus IS(small and looks like it came out of the movie The Fast and The Furious) and the Lincoln LS(good car but it was rough riding and it sat low,it was hard to get in and out of), and none of them had the horsepower. The G35 had the best of both (Sport and Luxury).

Have been buying new cars since 1949 and have never had a car that has excited me so much. Mine is a beautiful garnet red which is close to a candy apple, gets many compliments!!Has the luxury package, xenon lights and the wonderful navigation unit which is such fun to use. This car goes like a rocket and has beautiful handling. A friend just bought a new $60,000. Corvette convertable and as nice as it is I would rather have Gi Gi as we call her. Paul Near San Diego

  • Look out BMW! - 2003 Infiniti G35

There are two 3-series BMWs in my family. I like my G35 better. The G35 is a HOT car thats FUN to drive. 260 HP and lots of pick up. Among other things, you get 90 more HP than the A4 1.8T, and 76 more than the BMW 325i. AND it costs less too. I upgraded my G20 to the G35. It took no time to fall in love. You get all of the reliability of a Japanese car, combined with the performance of the German competitors (and none of the time-or cost-in the shop). And it costs less with options. Zippy around town and fun on the highway, its got power to spare to merge, pass, and have some fun on a windy road or a long drive. Try it before you buy an A4 or a BMW...youll be surprised.

  • Newly Found Treasure - 2003 Infiniti G35

I have had the car for 2 days, and the initial impression is nothing but spectacular. Safety is emphasized with features such as LATCH system, front, side, curtain airbags, TCS, VDC. The handling is precisely responsive with neglectible body roll; the engine has almost endless instantly available power; the interior is clean and roomy with well placed primary controls, a very effective A/C unit, and theater like audio system; the sleek exterior design is purposefully built; the ride is firm yet comfortable. Despites the absence of a few useful features, this newly found treasure serves its purposes extremely well.

This car is a pleasure to drive. A true definition of the "sport sedan." My friend recently bought a 3.30i and after a test drive of my G35 he wanted to switch.
