Overview & Reviews
The G35 is Infiniti's new entry-level luxury sport sedan. Aimed at buyers who would otherwise choose an Audi A4, BMW 3 Series or Lexus IS 300, the G35 offers impressive performance and comfort for a price that's less than most of the competition's.
- Powerful V6, balanced and capable handling, roomy cabin, reasonable price.
- No manual transmission available yet for the sedan, average interior material quality.

Awesome so far - 2003 Infiniti G35
By sdmotor - May 29 - 10:00 amOnly have 500 miles on it but have been impressed more and more every time I drive it. The sport package is worth the money, but chrome rims are in order. Interior layout is ergonomic with the exception of the seat controls. Bose stereo provides plenty of sound, but Id rather listen to the song of the motor.

Infiniti G35 - 2003 Infiniti G35
By Jim Weekes - May 29 - 10:00 amI have had this car for 3 months and I can safely say that it is the best car that I have ever owned. It has a wonderful engine. I used to drive a 96 Nissan Maxima with an earlier version of this V6 and the improvements are amazing. Acceleration is instant and handling is at the top of its class. It is as solid as any car I have been in. At the price it is a total steal.

G35 A Pleasure - 2003 Infiniti G35
By gandreev - May 29 - 10:00 amIve been a car enthusiast since I can remember. Followed the development of this car in the auto magazines. Test drove and purhcased the G35 with luxury package in June after test drive. Its an out of mainstream car that elicits lots of interest and positive feedback from family, friends, and passers-by. An excellent alternative to the BMW/Lexus crowd.

G35 - Amazing Fun and Performance - 2003 Infiniti G35
By Slider Karl - May 27 - 11:53 amThe fun-factor of this ride must be experienced to be appreciated. I purchased the G35 with the extra sports package and all the options that were available. The exterior look oozes luxury while maintaining an extremely efficient drag coefficient (0.26). The available power (265 HP) propels this carriage to 60 mph in under 6 seconds. The brake response is outstanding with very little effort but there is no loss of feel for the road. Rear-wheel drive and vehicle dymanics control allows, even the most inexperienced driver to benefit from all of those ponies while maintaining a sure grip on the road. The interior offers the refinement one would expect is a luxury vehicle at a great price.

My 100,000+ mile Update - 2003 Infiniti G35
By Racecar Johnny - May 20 - 3:33 pmI have 112,000 miles on my 03 G35 Sedan Sport. Ive had Benz, BMW, Honda and this is the best car Ive ever owned. It still goes like stink, handles tight and fits four. Nitpicks are small (see below) especially given my mid-2002 model. Does it handle with aplomb and oversteer like a BMW? No. It does track controllably and straight whether on a twisty or a fwy. But the steering shudders when I take a bumpy ramp hard. Other than that, its a refined, fast, great looking, RELIABLE ride. I have had no -- I mean none -- major repairs. Its a fun compromise that will smoke em all day with 0-60 in 5.6 sec, costs $10k less than the Germans (& will run longer & cheaper) & gets a consistent 20 mpg.

Final Thoghts - 2003 Infiniti G35
By Gary D. - May 18 - 3:36 amTraded in my G35 yesterday with 95k. Owned it since new. Overall a wonderful car and experience. Never a mechanical problem. Over the last 8 months, wiper motor, window motor and ac fan went with likely more to come. Otherwise regular 30k service from a good independent was fine. I allowed him to put in standard brakes rather than Infiniti for a good savings w/o substantial loss of braking performance. Winter driving with RWD was a problem solved with Blizzak snows. The high level of performance and reliable driving pleasure that this car gave me at a reasonable cost should not be lost. It was a blast to drive to work or explore the backroads. A lot of bang for the buck!!
