This Year's Model Updates:

The G35 is Infiniti's new entry-level luxury sport sedan. Aimed at buyers who would otherwise choose an Audi A4, BMW 3 Series or Lexus IS 300, the G35 offers impressive performance and comfort for a price that's less than most of the competition's.

Pros:
  • Powerful V6, balanced and capable handling, roomy cabin, reasonable price.
Cons:
  • No manual transmission available yet for the sedan, average interior material quality.

The whole Infiniti experience has been a good one. I had been thinking about buying a car for some time and was admiring the G35. I loved the advertising and when I finally went to drive one, I was not disappointed. Also, my salesman was terrific and he could not do enough for me. I am a completely satisfied customer and could not even imaging driving another vehicle.

  • Very Tempting - 2003 Infiniti G35

I just test drove this car today, and I am very tempted by it. Prior to this car, I have never considered Infinity, mostly because of cost/benefit, but also due to the historically strange styling of Nissans cars in general. I guess Renault must have been good to them, though - this was one fun car to toss around, even with 4 people in the car.

  • Best Value In Its Class - 2003 Infiniti G35

Like most reviewers, we looked at Lexus, Acura,BMW, Audi but immediately fell in love with the G35s styling when we saw it up close. Ive owned a 911 and we get similar looks going down the highway. Looks is just the beginning though! This car STREAMS power with the 260hp 3.5 engine. Really smooth shifting, (seamless). Stomp on it and it literally will set you back in your seat. Interior & trunk space is best in its class too! So much more value for the money than comparable that Im wondering if they will end up raising the price in the next model year?

  • ITS THE ONE - 2003 Infiniti G35

Purchased at MRSP. 5AT, maxed out, no nav. Great confort, performance and sexy looking. Great sports car for the price. Never thought I would be able to afford this level of performance and looks on my income. Do yourself a favor and dont miss out on owning this car.

The car was delivered in perfect condition and is a blast to drive. Im coming from a BMW 1997 M3, handling is different but equivalent or better- performance about equal with more usable torque. MUCH better than 330i, overall performance and handling at least equal, MUCH better value and dealers. Dont let Edmunds reviews put you off, the editors are impressed by badge engineering, dont use their own cash and dont look at their own consumer ratings for competitive cars. Give the car a look for this segment before you buy.

  • Glad I stuck with my first choice - 2003 Infiniti G35

This is an outstanding car. The performance is a delight, the interior supremely comfortable, and the quality high. BMW may be "the ultimate driving machine", but in my opinion (having driven a 530i) is not worth another $15,000.

  • Finally, A tall(er) persons car. - 2003 Infiniti G35

I have driven the 3 and 5 series BMW, the IS, ES, and GS Lexus, and the C and E bodies from MB. The G35 is comfortable for 63" 230 lb person, and drives better than all of the above (except the 5 series, and that is a close call). A smoothly accelerating engine... just a pleasure overall.

  • Great! But Could be Better.. - 2003 Infiniti G35

I Bought my 2003 G35 sedan used, october 2008 with 130,000K. Got it for a great price. I love the car its great compared to the Chrysler i used to drive. I will never go Domestic again. This car is i believe an Icon for great performance no doubt about it. However its the little things which bring me down such as the very famous electrical problem with the center console that no longer works for me and will cost over $1000 since parts alone are $900 and the recall doesnt apply to my VIN number. Other electrical such as the clock light, and wiper blade motor. These are problems I just didnt expect from Infiniti. Any car you buy will have its Flaw, electrical seems to be the Gs problem.
