This Year's Model Updates:

The G35 is Infiniti's new entry-level luxury sport sedan. Aimed at buyers who would otherwise choose an Audi A4, BMW 3 Series or Lexus IS 300, the G35 offers impressive performance and comfort for a price that's less than most of the competition's.

Pros:
  • Powerful V6, balanced and capable handling, roomy cabin, reasonable price.
Cons:
  • No manual transmission available yet for the sedan, average interior material quality.

  • LOVE AFFAIR CONTINUES - 2003 Infiniti G35

I HAD BEEN RESEARCHING FOR MY NEXT PURCHASE FOR SEVERAL MONTHS (TO JUSTIFY ALL OF THE AUTO MAGAZINE SUBCRIPTIONS). WAS CONVINCED MY NEXT PURCHASE WOULD BE A BMW 330i. WHEN WE DROVE ON THE LOT MY WIFE WAS NOT INTERESTED IN GETTING OUT OF THE CAR. THE LOOKS OF THE BMW DID NOT EXCITE HER IN THE LEAST. WHEN I SHOWED HER A PICTURE OF THE G35 HER EYES LIT UP. WHEN WE TEST DROVE THE G35 IT WAS SOLD! MY FAMILY CALLS LONG DISTANCE OCCASIONALLY TO SEE WHAT PART OF THE CAR IM CLEANING OR POLISHING.

Fun Car, no problems and I just passed 50k with the car. Brakes make a lot of dust on the wheels upfront. I have every option but the nav and think the sport package(if you can find one with it) is worth the money. The car has strong, albeit touchy brakes at low speed. Gas mileage is not stellar but not bad either. Fun car on the highway as it has a big top end (mph). Paint is soft, so dont spend time in drive through car washes. Handling can be twitchy. Even with the VDC on you can throw the back end out into a powerslide without a lot of effort. It is very controllable and makes me think this would be the ideal 4dr drift car with the Limited slip my car has. Ditch the summer sport tires.

I do not recommend this car. The brakes and rotors wear out every 7,000-10,000 miles. Infiniti is well aware of the issue but says that you need to "sacrifice wear for performance". Considering I am very knowledgeable about cars I find that insulting. Infiniti gives us free brakes and rotors until 36,000 miles which will stop doing me any good by next year. I have repeatedly been treated rudely and disrespectfully by Infiniti and as much as I love my car otherwise it is not possible to afford. I would never purchase an Infiniti ever again.

This car is fast, to fast for american soil. I just got rid of a mazda millenia which i miss(but im over it). The only thing i think that is wrong with this car is that it gets terrible gas mileage, i literally see the gas gauge going down when i drive. I cant help go back to how fast this big car is. Top speed is 151 mph, we americans would never let one of ours go that fast unless it had a name to match it (corvette, mustang, camaro, etc). Big ups to infiniti, they should of issued us a gas station with this car though.

  • Excited About G35 Coupe - 2003 Infiniti G35

Its fun to drive with plenty of horses under the hood. Our G35 handles great and we saved over $6000.00 under the BMW 330i. The BMW comes standard with fewer options by far, with the luxury tax look out.

  • Drove from Ohio to Miami - 2003 Infiniti G35

I just picked up my new G35 coupe. Black/black. It was a comfortable drive from Ohio to Miami. The navigator is awesome. Didnt see one other G35 coupe in 1200 miles. I got plenty of looks. Anyway, Ive had Mercedes, BMWs, Volvo C70 and a 300ZX. This car is by far the most fun. Its fast, luxurious, fun to drive. I bought this one instead of leasing. It will hold its value for sure. Actually, I lease a Q45. Resale value on other Infinitis is not good. But, I have confidence that I will have good luck with this car in a few years. 25 mpg on my trip (1900 miles)

This is one of the most amazing cars that I have ever owned. Its elegance combined with sportiness is purely exhilarating. I drive around clients frequently and they compliment me on the car, even while sitting in the back seat! Once again, Ill restate how amazing this car is: wow. Thats all I can say. -ryan-

  • Its A Thrill to Own - 2003 Infiniti G35

This car sits next to a 2001 Acura CL type S in my garage. My S is good; my G is great. The car has a great sound, outstanding performance in acceleration and the gas mileage is tolerable; 25 at 80. The diamond grafite color goes so well with the mags and the tone inside the headlights. Leather is very well fitted inside. Travel is really possible as there is plenty of room for luggage and golf clubs. People turn to look at it and I love to see it first thing when I go to the garage to leave.

  • Performance with class - 2003 Infiniti G35

Excellent performance and handling. All of the most important luxuries and eye catching appearance. If you like a little class with the pizzaz, this is the car for you.
