This Year's Model Updates:

The G35 is Infiniti's new entry-level luxury sport sedan. Aimed at buyers who would otherwise choose an Audi A4, BMW 3 Series or Lexus IS 300, the G35 offers impressive performance and comfort for a price that's less than most of the competition's.

Pros:
  • Powerful V6, balanced and capable handling, roomy cabin, reasonable price.
Cons:
  • No manual transmission available yet for the sedan, average interior material quality.

okay, its been 3 yrs now and still, with a decent wash, "she" (my 4 dr G35) appeals to me. there are newer models and even slicker looking BMWs and Lexus models (sad- they stepped up their "GAME" due to the G35 !!!), but my girl holds her own.the ride has always been a little "rough" considering the poor condition of L.As streets, but on the highway, and smoother roads, Infiniti proves its worth. i made the mistake of buying without a GPS, but when Im lost , I still enjoy the drive. brakes are still an issue but survivable, and the local dealers always take of you like you wer a new customer. the engine (now complemented with borla exhaust and cold air intake) pushs about 15 more horse out 275 bhp

  • Great Car Except Brake Longevity - 2003 Infiniti G35

I have had this car for over 1 year. At 15000 miles I need new front rotors and front and rear pads. According to the dealer this is not at all uncommon with the G35. Infiniti does not consider this premature wear a covered item so my 15000 mile bill went from an estimated $200 to nearly $900. Other than this issue the car is very nice. But not such a great deal with this premature break wear.

Ive had the G35 for a month and its all true. Power, acceleration, handling its all there. I had to play hard ball but got the all 9 yards including Aero Package and beat edmunds price buy 1500.

  • Terrific 4 door sports car - 2003 Infiniti G35

Terrific vehicle. Great 4 door alternative to the 350Z. Excellent fit and finish on the exterior--paint is beautiful. Interior plastic not on par with BMW or Mercedes, but decent. Bose 6CD sounds very good. Gas mileage not great--I average about 22 mpg on a 50 mile daily commute (mostly freeway, cruise set at 74). Very fast, especially at highway speeds in higher gears. Engine sounds like a V8 under heavy throttle. Stability control is excellent. Brake function is best Ive had, but the brakes wear fast. Infiniti replaced all four brakes at no charge at 29,000 miles. Now that gas is over $2.30 / gallon Ive traded for a new Accord. I will miss the fun factor of the G.

  • Great Car after 1st year - 2003 Infiniti G35

I waited until I have owned the car for nearly a year. I must say it still is fun to drive, even though the new car feeling has faded. I love the power and even the touchy brakes. I find myself thinking about the next G35 I might buy. Overall, a great car with no problems yet.

  • The Germans will NOT be pleased! - 2003 Infiniti G35

My G35 just gets better and better. I was considering purchasing a 2003 Audi A4 3.0 Quattro, BMW 330i, Lexus IS 300 and the G35. After walking to each and every dealership, sitting inside vehicles and test driving, by the time I arrived at Infiniti, the choice was clear. The G35 is the hands down winner in the Sport Sedan market. Every aspect is exceptional: its sleek interior, sporty exterior, Skyline handling, braking and acceleration numbers, and rock bottom price. This is a deadly combination. I have let friends (Audi/BMW owners) drive the car, and they all get a grin on their face. This is a performance car wrapped with 4 doors and leather.
