Sedans get standard heated outside mirrors, heated front seats and, on leather-equipped six-speed models only, a four-way power passenger seat and a limited-slip differential. Other changes include a standard tire-pressure monitoring system, Low Emissions Vehicle status and a revised front console with an additional cupholder on leather-equipped six-speed coupes. 2004 also sees the addition of an all-wheel-drive sport sedan to the G35 lineup.

A Good, Solid Car... - 2004 Infiniti G35
By glevitt - November 19 - 6:03 pmI really like this car. It is the perfect blend of fun and comfort for a daily commuter like myself. I like knowing that I can smoke just about anyone off a light or passing them on the highway. That is the highpoint of this car by far. Inside, its very nice but not quite up to a BMW, Audi or even the Acura TL for that matter. I almost bought the TL but at the end of the day, AWD was more important than the better interior for me (I live in Colorado). I would recommend this car to anyone who is looking for a solid balance of performance and value.

Pleasure To Drive, Nightmare to Maintain - 2004 Infiniti G35

From everything I read, this car seemed to have the best balance of performance, practicality, reliability, and style. Although this car has many irritating problems such as poor build quality and horrific gas milage (around 15), I still love it and take care of it like a baby.

By JC - November 15 - 6:56 amI Love to drive my 2004 G35x. My old Infiniti was a 1994 J30 with 123,000 miles. I think that Infiniti is a few steps above Lexus all the way around. My G35x is quality with lots of class. Lexus is just out there as a big Camry that will cost you more money. I will buy another Infiniti.

Best ever under 50000 dollars - 2004 Infiniti G35
By Flash MB - November 13 - 10:00 amIve had audis, bmws, hondas, alfa romeos, etc. Nothing compares. This baby has it all. Granted I changed the exhaust,air induction and sway bars and it now is legitemately a porsche eater. i love this car, Nav system, satelite radio, heated seats, @ baby seats fit in the back and it drives like a full blown sports car. Way to go infiniti, youve out done yourself and its cheep too. WOW!!!

If your looking for a Luxury/Sport Coupe choose the G35.So far i have no problems with the car, I just heard it was among the best for resale value in a 5yr term.So as of now this is the best car for me. Well and my Infiniti FX45 !!!!!!!!

I havent taken any long trips nor have I driven around all day, but its comfy, smooth with power and the Bose sound bangs pretty nice. So like I said so far so good and Ill be back in a couple months to write about how it continues.

Unintended acceleration Infiniti G35 - 2004 Infiniti G35
By Infiniti owner - November 3 - 8:40 amToyota isnt the only car that has experienced unintended acceleration problems. I just had the same thing happen in my 2004 Infiniti G35. I was sitting at a dead stop with my foot on the brake when my car suddenly took off full speed ahead. It hit the car sitting several feet in front of me. I hit so hard that the damage to my Infiniti exceeded $7800. Dont know at this point if Infiniti ever did a recall on these models. I would love to know who else has experienced this problem and what repairs need to be done to correct the issue.

By NewInfinitiFan - October 24 - 10:00 amI purchased the G35 after months of reviewing, analyzing and test driving the Acura TL ,BMW 3XX, I35, Maxima, etc. Almost purchased an I35 but am so glad I went for the G! Was nervous about buying any model in its 1st year but decided on the G after my first test drive. I cant remember a car I have had so much fun driving. Puts the joy into a Ho-Hum commute to work.

Infinity G35 Sport - 2004 Infiniti G35
By XRD - October 12 - 2:00 amI trade my 323CI for the G35 with Sport package. It is a lot of fun to drive and really sticks to the roads. If you wonder about the 323 it would be unfair to compare the two cars, two different products. The G35 is a sport car dont expect any more. The sound system is awsome. The cons I would highlight, not good in snow and the cabin could be a little more quite from outside noises.

bad paint job - 2004 Infiniti G35
By dianne st clair - October 7 - 10:00 amMy license plate cover started peeling around 3,000 miles. Then I noticed chips in the paint. In September I started going to dealer complaining about paint problems. They kept telling me they would have a paint inspector to come look at car. in Feb.04 I still have not heard from paint inspector. I went back to dealer, Baton Rouge, and was told a paint inspector would call me soon. It is now June 04,2004. I still havent heard from a paint inspector. My car shifts hard and the picture has peeled off of my mirrow, the button I push for the garage opener. I am very desappointed in Infiniti and The dealer. I will not buy another Infiniti.
