This Year's Model Updates:

The G35 is Infiniti's new entry-level luxury sport sedan. Aimed at buyers who would otherwise choose an Audi A4, BMW 3 Series or Lexus IS 300, the G35 offers impressive performance and comfort for a price that's less than most of the competition's.

Pros:
  • Powerful V6, balanced and capable handling, roomy cabin, reasonable price.
Cons:
  • No manual transmission available yet for the sedan, average interior material quality.

Incredibly fun to drive, outstanding engine and transmission. Short turning radius makes it agile and quick in town.

  • From Z to G35 coupe - 2003 Infiniti G35

I purchased a 350z in April of 2003. I drove the car for about 4 months before I started to kick myself for not test driving the G35 before making my purchase. Long story short and after much deliberating I decided to trade it in for a black, manual, G35 coupe. Aside from the money I lost, I couldnt have made a better decision. From the stereo system to the ride quality to the fit and finish everything is better in the G35 coupe. I admit they are different cars in a different class, but performance is very similar. Bottom line is I suggest checking out the G35 before buying the Z. It is a great car for the money. I can’t help but compare the two because of my personal experience.

  • Best Car Ive Ever Owned - 2003 Infiniti G35

I bought this car when they first came out in April, 2002. It was love at first sight and has continued for 3 1/2 years. Comfort, handling, speed, joy of driving describe this car. I still get compliments on its looks and raves about the comfort of the adjustable back seat. Have only had brake job once and still have original tires, so dont understand the brake, tire problems some are having. The car has been mechanically sound and Infiniti service is great. Get 20 mpg in town, 30 on the road. Not bad for this type of car. Love this car and when the time comes to replace, will buy another Infiniti.

just traded in my four door g35 for the two door. i could not resist it! this car is easily the best thing i have ever bought. It gets way more looks than my friends BMW or Mercedes - alot of people think it looks like the 350z but it has a backseat and more elegance and pinache. It really is a beautiful car and i have a great time driving it.

  • Already Great - 2003 Infiniti G35

I just bought my car used about 2 weeks ago. It had 44k miles on it and it was originally a lease car from 04/02. I already love this car! When searching for cars, I gave my wife a list of features I was looking for in a used car. I actually went to the car lot to purchase a Lexus GS300 I saw on their website. But on my way to look at it, I stopped to look at the G35 sitting next to it. I really loved the sports sedan look and feel of the car. And once I drove it, I was sold. From the one touch up & down features of each window to the auto to manual stick, this car easily fulfilled my wish list! My only complaint was that the car needed brake service and the dealer took $500 off. Cost $700

Drove the Audi, BMW and Volvo. None perform as well, none look as good and all are more expensive. This is my second Infiniti and once again am very impressed with the build quality.

Traded my 2002 Altima 3.5SE for this beauty. Handles extremely well, power to spare. A true luxury sports car. Rear wheel drive is the way to go, no more torque steer problems.

This is my first "sport" car that i have ever bought. I am very pleased except for if you do not get the navigation system and want it you can not purchase & get installed the one like the manufactors. It would be an after market one which does not look anything as good as the original one

  • G35 ROCKS - 2003 Infiniti G35

Audi A4, BMW 3 series, Acura TL typeR, and on and on, they just cant compare with G35. Start with horse power, G35 got 260, and 260lb of torque. No car in this catagory can beat that. Eventhough TL typeR got 260HP, it has less torque. Styling? I thik BMW gotta go, its style is the same years after years. A4 is not bad, but when we speak about money, theres a huge difference. German cars are over priced. With 30k, u can only get an Audi A4 1.8T, not even the V6 version. As for BMW, you can only get a plain 325i without leather. Dont even think about 330i, itll cost at least 35k. TL is front wheel drive, and doesnt qualify as a true sports sedan.
