This Year's Model Updates:

The G35 is Infiniti's new entry-level luxury sport sedan. Aimed at buyers who would otherwise choose an Audi A4, BMW 3 Series or Lexus IS 300, the G35 offers impressive performance and comfort for a price that's less than most of the competition's.

Pros:
  • Powerful V6, balanced and capable handling, roomy cabin, reasonable price.
Cons:
  • No manual transmission available yet for the sedan, average interior material quality.

  • Great Sport/Lux Car - 2003 Infiniti G35

We just purchased our black on black G35 and love it. We test drove the Audi A4(cheap interior), the Volvo S60(cheap interior and the engine sounded like a chainsaw), the Lexus ES(very good car, but it looks just like a Camry), the Lexus IS(small and looks like it came out of the movie The Fast and The Furious) and the Lincoln LS(good car but it was rough riding and it sat low,it was hard to get in and out of), and none of them had the horsepower. The G35 had the best of both (Sport and Luxury).

Have been buying new cars since 1949 and have never had a car that has excited me so much. Mine is a beautiful garnet red which is close to a candy apple, gets many compliments!!Has the luxury package, xenon lights and the wonderful navigation unit which is such fun to use. This car goes like a rocket and has beautiful handling. A friend just bought a new $60,000. Corvette convertable and as nice as it is I would rather have Gi Gi as we call her. Paul Near San Diego

  • Look out BMW! - 2003 Infiniti G35

There are two 3-series BMWs in my family. I like my G35 better. The G35 is a HOT car thats FUN to drive. 260 HP and lots of pick up. Among other things, you get 90 more HP than the A4 1.8T, and 76 more than the BMW 325i. AND it costs less too. I upgraded my G20 to the G35. It took no time to fall in love. You get all of the reliability of a Japanese car, combined with the performance of the German competitors (and none of the time-or cost-in the shop). And it costs less with options. Zippy around town and fun on the highway, its got power to spare to merge, pass, and have some fun on a windy road or a long drive. Try it before you buy an A4 or a BMW...youll be surprised.

  • Newly Found Treasure - 2003 Infiniti G35

I have had the car for 2 days, and the initial impression is nothing but spectacular. Safety is emphasized with features such as LATCH system, front, side, curtain airbags, TCS, VDC. The handling is precisely responsive with neglectible body roll; the engine has almost endless instantly available power; the interior is clean and roomy with well placed primary controls, a very effective A/C unit, and theater like audio system; the sleek exterior design is purposefully built; the ride is firm yet comfortable. Despites the absence of a few useful features, this newly found treasure serves its purposes extremely well.

This car is a pleasure to drive. A true definition of the "sport sedan." My friend recently bought a 3.30i and after a test drive of my G35 he wanted to switch.

  • Fun Behind the Wheel Again - 2003 Infiniti G35

The G35 hit the mark with its interior and exterior design. The engine and transmission truly performs and brings the fun back into mundane trips around town. Acceleration is very strong. Steering gives good feedback of road conditions. Performs effortlessly. The only negative I could find was the right edge of the drivers seat wasnt cushioned well enough due to seat controls located there. To be fair though, Im 6 235lbs so I take up more space in the seat than most people.

Luxury and performance rolled into one... what a great driving vehicle. Constantly stopped in parking lots and asked about what car it is ... real head turner.

  • Great car at 140,000! - 2003 Infiniti G35
    By -

Purchased my one owner 2003, silver on black, 6-speed, with sport suspension in December 08. Flew to Ohio to check it out and was sold. Had 113,000 when purchased and now 138,000 1 1/2 years later. Only maintenance performed are oil changes/brakes,rotors,tires. Most needed replacing when purchased for 8,300 and valued around 10,500 at the time. The acceleration is much stronger than my mothers 03 Acura TL. Also the RWD makes for better handling in dry conditions, and in rain is not bad compared to the Acura. Dont bother taking out in snow. The clutch is original and still feels sporty as if it were new. However, when it rains the moisture causes the clutch to make unpleasant squeeks.

  • Ive been waiting for this......... - 2003 Infiniti G35

I just picked up my 2003 Infiniti G35 Sedan, and I love it. Ive been waiting for the dealerships to relax a little on the cost. In fact, I had to drive about 200 miles to save myself about $1500. This thing is LOADED!! Every option in the book. Black on black, and SWEET. Much more pick-up than my 2000 Chrysler 300M, which I gladly will be turning in on a lease in about a month. I know Ive only had my new baby for about six hours, but Im looking forward to many, many hours of zipping in and out of traffic, and probably many speeding tickets. Well worth it.....for now!

For about the same price as a stodgy Acura 3.2CL Type S you could own the least expensive supercar ever. 280 HP/270 ft/lb. of torque across the entire RPM band and you got your self a compressed bladder yearning to relieve itself. For you neophites out there DONT DEFEAT THE TRACTION CONTROL, YOU WILL BUY THE FARM!!!
