Overview & Reviews
Sedans get standard heated outside mirrors, heated front seats and, on leather-equipped six-speed models only, a four-way power passenger seat and a limited-slip differential. Other changes include a standard tire-pressure monitoring system, Low Emissions Vehicle status and a revised front console with an additional cupholder on leather-equipped six-speed coupes. 2004 also sees the addition of an all-wheel-drive sport sedan to the G35 lineup.
- Powerful V6, balanced and capable handling, roomy cabin, reasonable price.
- Average interior materials quality, touchy brakes.

Great Sport Sedan Car - 2004 Infiniti G35
By swheeler007 - October 31 - 10:00 amI did a lot of research b/f choosing the G35. I believe for the money and the class it is in, it is the best. The overall design of the car is very nice. The interior could have been done better. Really the only complaint I have w/ the interior is that it scratches easily, other than that I like it. The performance of the car is outstanding. I easily make 35mph curves at 60-70 and have done higher. It corners great. The engine itself seems good also. It seems to be running better now w/about 10000 miles on it. The miles per gallon have been slowly increasing also. Overall this is a great car that I enjoy immensely.

Best Purchase of my life - 2004 Infiniti G35
By Jay007 - September 30 - 2:00 amWOW! This is a fun vehicle. Handles like it is on rails. I drive very aggressively and there is a VDC- (vehicle dynamic control) that can help you out if the computer senses that there is a traction problem and adjusts accordingly. You can also turn this off with a touch of a button. Great for long trips as the front seating is very comfortable and has great ergonomics. Drove 8 hours with girlfriend and neither of us had that "I need to get out this car" feeling.

Sweet Ride - 2004 Infiniti G35
By turbo1 - September 19 - 10:00 amExcellent car! Lots of Torque. Fantastic Bose sound system. Nice short throw shifter. Sport package a must have -Brembos stop on a dime. Winter tires a must for driving in anything over 2 inches of snow. Corners with little roll...and the looks you get!

NICE but could offer more - 2004 Infiniti G35
By GWarr - September 19 - 10:00 amI purchased the G35 sedan with the premium sports package (upgraded brakes, bose sound system, rear spoiler, etc.) in May. This car is FUN to drive and handles like a dream. Trottle response and sport shifting is remarkable for an automatic. After testing several competing models, the G35 is the quickest and has the tightest suspension. More amenities would make this car much more attractive to "average buyer". Who is going to push a family sedan to 130mph on a consistent basis? The G35 needs more luxury items to match the TL and Saab 9 to balance out its superior performance.

New and lovin it... - 2004 Infiniti G35
By Cram - September 13 - 10:00 amFor a while, I struggled btw a BMW and MB sedan. As for coupes...I always liked the Nissan Z but it was TOO sporty...Reminded me of a rich kids car that daddy would buy. When I saw the G35 sport coupe it had the distinguished look the Z lacked and it simply looked great. So I bought it. The Navi and Sat helped too...

Happy camper - 2004 Infiniti G35
By Jack L - September 13 - 10:00 amI have owned two BMW 3-series and loved the quality of handling and the glass-smooth engines , but tired of the nuisance problems requiring service. My G-35 coupe feels tighter and more powerful than the BMWs and is definitely a head-turner as far as exterior styling. It is a fun driving experience for someone like me who isnt ready to throw in the towel and drive my "grandfathers bouncy sedan". If you think that a cars sole purpose is to get you from point A to point B, this isnt for you. However, if you want a car than can get you where youre going and let you have fun getting there, this is it.

Poor Mans Porche 911 - 2004 Infiniti G35
By Dancing Boy - August 2 - 10:00 amHad a Carrera 911 - too expensive to maintain - Looked at the MBZ but a dealer friend said theyve been cost cutting to compete with BMW so they took away things like good brakes! Drove the G35 with nav, bought it on the spot. Had to pay full whack tho. Only drawbacks: Doors dont auto lock when you drive and no seat memory (a real bummer at the car wash) - The engine is awesome and drives fast. Handles very well at 1/2 a Porsche price. Im happy.
