Overview & Reviews
Sedans get standard heated outside mirrors, heated front seats and, on leather-equipped six-speed models only, a four-way power passenger seat and a limited-slip differential. Other changes include a standard tire-pressure monitoring system, Low Emissions Vehicle status and a revised front console with an additional cupholder on leather-equipped six-speed coupes. 2004 also sees the addition of an all-wheel-drive sport sedan to the G35 lineup.
- Powerful V6, balanced and capable handling, roomy cabin, reasonable price.
- Average interior materials quality, touchy brakes.

Poor interior quality :-( - 2004 Infiniti G35
By K. Kimmel - May 13 - 10:00 amCar looks/handles great, but VERY disappointed with quality of interior const.......when delivered, the vehicle had noticeable rattling from shelf behind back seat..after 3 service visits, issue not quite resolved....merely a matter of inadequate materials for location(cheap fiberboard). Problems with power windows(twice), and overall, the 3 month-old car has more interior squeaks and rattles than a 3 yr. old Jeep Grand Cherokee that was driven around construction sites(i.e., rear qaurter window sounded like it was going to fall out!) Out of all the vehicles Ive ever owned, this is also the ONLY one that has a problem playing CD-R discs too!

G35 Sedan 6sp - 2004 Infiniti G35
By Wesarran - May 7 - 2:00 amWhat a great car, fast, fun to drive and handles very well for a sedan. Almost bought a BMW 330ci thank god i didnt. Probably the best car ive ever driven. Seat could be a little wider and should have the same Horsepower and torque as the coupe, also the tires size is 215/55/17 should be a little wider on a car this size, looks a little of balance.

BMW Beater - 2004 Infiniti G35
By FzyLgic - May 1 - 2:00 amWhat a car!! Ive owned 4 BMWs previous to this purchase and had never considered anything else - until Bangle Bungled the design and ruined a great car. This vehicle is awesome - will blow the doors off my E39 and has tons of aftermarket performance support. It just keeps getting better. More interior room and more usable truck space than the Bimmer. My only desires would be for a few more features: outside mirror tilt on reverse, telescoping wheel and mirror/steering wheel memory integrated with the seat memory.

TOTAL BLAST - 2004 Infiniti G35
By Tcruz246 - April 20 - 10:00 amFor starters, what sold me the first time I saw the car was the bodystyle, and of course the extra space available for the back seat. The trunk space is great also. Its the kind of car that catches the human eye. Unlike the BMW that has become somewhat mainstream, this one seems to be in a class all of its own. People just cant help but look when it drives by them.

2004 G35 - 2004 Infiniti G35
By Jim 100 - March 19 - 2:00 amFun to drive, excellent power. Had a Lexus SC 400 and the G35 is a much nicer vehicle in all catagories.

infinite enjoyment - 2004 Infiniti G35
By rswestphal - March 19 - 2:00 amA virtual "slot car" in handling. Only negatives are side effects of high points, so rear seat room is minimal (kids only) and agressive Michelin "Pilot" series tires (235 (225 front)/ 45x18" on the 18" rims creates a noticeable road noise, especially (and oddly) at lower speeds around 30 mph. A minor "flaw" which is Michelins anyway, not the car. Excellent music system completely "covers" tire noise, but then may also cover the "sweet" exhaust note. Choices.

my perfect car - 2004 Infiniti G35
By jdlsjf6 - March 19 - 2:00 amive had a wonderful experience with this vehicle. Before buying it I tested lexus, acura, mercedes and BMW and the G35 greatly exceded its compitition. its so much fun to drive, although it makes driving the speed limit a challenge:).

2004 G35X AWD Infiniti, 6 mo Review - 2004 Infiniti G35
By paradigmslug - March 9 - 10:00 amThis is my 6 month review of this vehicle (I posted 1/23/04). Ive driven 7300 miles and have not had any mechanical or build quality issues. I have had two planned services (3500 & 7500) and have been provided with complimentary loaner vehicles. On a 250 mile trip to Las Vegas, I got 25 mpg (and I was travelling between 80 and 85). The car runs smooth and quiet (I have not experienced any rattle or shakes that some have commented on). My Bose sound is great and my XM has worked flawlessly. I average 18 mpg in everyday commuter travelling. I enjoy this vehicle very much and I have not had any buyers remorse. This Infiniti product is a good choice.
