This Year's Model Updates:

The G35 is Infiniti's new entry-level luxury sport sedan. Aimed at buyers who would otherwise choose an Audi A4, BMW 3 Series or Lexus IS 300, the G35 offers impressive performance and comfort for a price that's less than most of the competition's.

Pros:
  • Powerful V6, balanced and capable handling, roomy cabin, reasonable price.
Cons:
  • No manual transmission available yet for the sedan, average interior material quality.

  • Great Car after 1st year - 2003 Infiniti G35

I waited until I have owned the car for nearly a year. I must say it still is fun to drive, even though the new car feeling has faded. I love the power and even the touchy brakes. I find myself thinking about the next G35 I might buy. Overall, a great car with no problems yet.

My G35 just gets better and better. I was considering purchasing a 2003 Audi A4 3.0 Quattro, BMW 330i, Lexus IS 300 and the G35. After walking to each and every dealership, sitting inside vehicles and test driving, by the time I arrived at Infiniti, the choice was clear. The G35 is the hands down winner in the Sport Sedan market. Every aspect is exceptional: its sleek interior, sporty exterior, Skyline handling, braking and acceleration numbers, and rock bottom price. This is a deadly combination. I have let friends (Audi/BMW owners) drive the car, and they all get a grin on their face. This is a performance car wrapped with 4 doors and leather.

I can only say that this is one truly awsome automobile. Super styling, performance, and features. The nav system and Bose stereo put the icing on the cake. And for those that dont like the power seat controls in the side of the seat, try moving the passenger seat each time your child or figety passenger changes it all around. I can change it easily without bending over and pulling a muscle. This car has everything one could want in a 45K car but for around 35K

Had mine a week so far. Ive driven bimmers in europe on autobahn and love them. Friends have BMWs and they are great cars but... For $9000 less you get close to the same experience with more room. Fast, elegant, real head turner. Only gripe so far is having a hard time finding good seat settings. My old Volvo had great seats. Dont get dark interior, makes it look cheap. Step up to premium with wood and adds class.

This is a great automobile. It is the sport sedan with auto tranny and many other features. The handling is great and the power is zoooom! I use regular fuel (personal choice) & get 22 mpg around town - even more on highway. The required maintenance, or lack of, is fantastic, also. Changing oil is the most frequent maintenance item. One brake change in 133,000 miles. I had rims replaced because brake dust stuck to factory rims. Now it is no problem. Had to have some modules replaced 4 years after purchase. The Michelin tires I purchased have lasted over 80k miles. Still get frequent compliments on styling. I plan to keep it for many years.

True joy to drive. Have driven all of the competitions cars in this price range/market niche and this has them hands down beat. More room, better handling, accelleration, and braking than any of them. However, it is a real sleeper in the handling department. It isnt until you PUSH it hard that you appreciate how refined it is. It just keeps asking for more!

I have 3,000 miles on it and cant get enough of it. Yes the gas millage is low, but that is due to gearing. I would not give up the performance. Brake pads are dirty, but GREAT stopping power! I have heard the Dealer will maintain the brakes for free up 15,000 mi. Will see. The Dealer was terrible. The purchase experiance was like a Used Car Horror story, They need to take lessons from Acura. But I would not trade the car for anything else. Enough room for my wife and I to pack for weekend get aways. That was the reason we chose over the 350z ot Audi TT. I have owned 2 Nissan Maximas before with great luck, so I hope the G35 lives up to their record!

  • The most fun Ive ever had driving. - 2003 Infiniti G35

I spent the past 6 months deciding between the TL, A4, A6, S80 and 330 and in the end, it came down to a 2005 TL and this, slightly used, 14k beautiful 2003 G35. After looking at the styling, both my wife and I liked the G35 better. Both test drove well, but I dont think you spend enough time on a test drive to really experience much. Well, Ive now had the car for 1000 miles and feel I have driven it enough to post a comment. This is, by far and away, the most fun Ive ever had driving a car. Ive had some fun cars over the years as well, but this car puts a smile on your face that just changes your mood. It handles like its on rails. The acceleration is a joke, its so fast.

Ive owned numerous cars over the years, and this is by far the best Ive ever had. Not only is stylish, but the performance great, when you say GO it GOES. I didnt want to be just another BMW out of millions we see around here. This car stands out of the crowd. The only downside is the gas mileage, especially these days. But thats what happens when you trade economy for power :-)
