Overview & Reviews
Sedans get standard heated outside mirrors, heated front seats and, on leather-equipped six-speed models only, a four-way power passenger seat and a limited-slip differential. Other changes include a standard tire-pressure monitoring system, Low Emissions Vehicle status and a revised front console with an additional cupholder on leather-equipped six-speed coupes. 2004 also sees the addition of an all-wheel-drive sport sedan to the G35 lineup.
- Powerful V6, balanced and capable handling, roomy cabin, reasonable price.
- Average interior materials quality, touchy brakes.

Finally....Im Having Fun Driving - 2004 Infiniti G35
By M.L. - July 11 - 2:00 amThis car Rocks!!! Ive driven BMWs and Mercedes, and I now get to enjoy driving my car. Lots of power and extremely quick - Very impressive for a car that price. Its very comfortable for a sport coupe and its lines are not unlike those of very expensive Italian sports cars. I opted not to go with the rear spoiler as I felt it takes away from the cars natural look and even though its automatic the gears dont miss a beat on shifting. Overall, I cant say enough about this car, and I cant stop staring at it just like a lot of other people out there.

G35 coupe: fun and comfort - 2004 Infiniti G35
By DrJPosner - July 11 - 2:00 amThe G35 coupe has the most comfortabble seats of any auto I have had. There is enough room in the back. The trunk is small. Driving is great fun, it handles well and is what the French call "nervous" meaning it loves to move very quickly. It handles beautfully.

Awesome Performance Coupe/Cheap Interior - 2004 Infiniti G35
By Bachfire - July 6 - 10:00 amThis is the best high performance coupe on the market today. Overall performance is excellent. The 280 HP engine is superb. Car hugs the road in curves and is very fast off the line. Overall driving experience cant be beat. Manual shifting with the automatic is a real thrill. Exterior styling turns heads everywhere I go. Many many compliments. Neighbors are envious!!!! Desert Platinum color is gorgeous. Have a problem when arriving home as I dont want to get out of the car!

Happy With Car - 2004 Infiniti G35
By Happy With Car - June 14 - 11:06 pmI have had this car for two summers now and have logged on 9,000 miles. It only gets out on sunny days. I find the car to be a practical sports car. It is fast, handles well, quiet interior, great creature comforts, brakes excellently, excellent MPG (21 to 25), and has enough room to comfortably take the family. I thought the car was fast until I recently drove a 2005 corvette. This car does not compete in acceleration with a vet but it is very sporty and certainly is more comfortable to drive as a regular driver than the vet. I would buy this car again but I wish the paint was better!

2004 G35 Sedan - A Two Year Perspective...It is what it is. - 2004 Infiniti G35
By yleung - June 12 - 8:30 amI have had my 2004 Infiniti G35 Sedan for almost a year and have not had any problems yet. The car is fun to drive and performs extremely well. I wish they did a better job with the interior though. The instrumentation is decent but the faux titanium and less than stellar plastic is very inferior to the Audi A6 I gave to my wife. I expect more from Infiniti. Good thing I spend most of my time looking at the road instead of the cockpit. That said, I think the interior is acceptable, the car itself is very comfortable given the emphasis on performance, and given the price, it is a great value if you value performance more than looks.

do not buy this car - 2004 Infiniti G35
By h8tinfi - May 24 - 10:00 amI have had this car in for service items 4 times, (1)window off track, (2)clutch slipping, (3)drivers seat broken, (4) interior falling apart, first off the warranty is horrible, I have been asked to pay for parts, and it seeems as if the drivers seat falling apart was my fault,(still waiting for parts from Japan 4 weeks, have you ever tried to drive a manual trans. with a seat that slides 4 inches front to back with a press of the gas petal) Although service department is world class (third world), I would not recomend a G35 or Infiniti to anyone! Save your money!!

Whoa! - 2004 Infiniti G35
By G enthusiast - May 13 - 10:00 amWeve never had anything remotely like this car. The performance and handling are unbelievable, and shes a for real head turner in our red w/black leather and the spoiler. It is a true pleasure and feels like something special every time we take her out. The car is completely reliable, and considering the power the gas mileage is reasonably good. When you are in the drivers seat, you get that chic sports car feel with the instrumentation and controls all extremely well thought out.

My Twilight Blue G35 Coupe - 2004 Infiniti G35
By irvsteroni - May 13 - 10:00 amMy final choices were the BMW 325Ci or the G35c. The question I asked myself was whether I wanted a $35-36k coupe with only 190 HP (BMW 325Ci-$40k for the 330Ci)or a wallet saving $30k coupe with 280HP, muscular looks, outstanding service, and a design that is outstanding and modern in its curves and lines. Sure the Beamer handles well beyond the G35 (it is the ultimate driving experience) and the acceleration is more linear, but for the price, engine, value, and service, the G has no other competitor. With the base model, this sports car is a bargain.

G Force! - 2004 Infiniti G35
By Tip Toe - May 12 - 4:43 pmAll in all I love the car. Fun to drive and is very good on gas. I will be honest I do not use premium fuel as the manual suggest but I wont tell if you wont tell.

Not a comfortable ride. - 2004 Infiniti G35
By chris19890101 - May 5 - 6:23 pmEverything is good about the car except for the plastic interior, hard suspension, and uncomfortable seats.
