Overview & Reviews
Sedans get standard heated outside mirrors, heated front seats and, on leather-equipped six-speed models only, a four-way power passenger seat and a limited-slip differential. Other changes include a standard tire-pressure monitoring system, Low Emissions Vehicle status and a revised front console with an additional cupholder on leather-equipped six-speed coupes. 2004 also sees the addition of an all-wheel-drive sport sedan to the G35 lineup.
- Powerful V6, balanced and capable handling, roomy cabin, reasonable price.

Hot car for the short run ONLY - 2004 Infiniti G35
By SkipA - September 11 - 10:00 amGreat fun to drive car, very fast, pretty darn good milage for this much performance. BUT = Seats are made for 150# or less small people. The low height of the roof line is anoying. I hit my head often & I am only 58".. In order to not hit the roof, you will almost be sitting on your back side. the ride is still a little abrupt. Great car to mess around with, not A AUTO FOR A LONG TRIP

Good Car some minor imperfections - 2004 Infiniti G35
By NickA - August 19 - 10:00 amDriving this car is absolutely amazing, I have the 2004 g35 coupe and it is great. There is only a few imperfections, one there is some cheap plastics on the interior, the leather on my seat ripped by the side, which seems to happen on MANY coupes. However, the power-train is amazing, the engine as well. Its not 100 percent reliable, but much better than American coupes, and German coupes as well, this car is for someone who wants performance, reliability, luxury, and too have fun while driving it. It is not very practical though. It is for two people and occasionally can seat 4 depending on their height. otherwise great car and WAY better ride and interior than the Z car.

my 2 cents - 2004 Infiniti G35
By micheal anderson - August 15 - 2:00 amOwnership satisfaction is less then what I expected. At full stop the car vibrates. The steering wheel vibrates at any speed. Mediocre stereo system and poorly designed temperature control. The heated seat is just a joke. Only half of it is heated and your butt is warm but your thighs are cold. No standard rear view mirror dimming control. I got 12 to 14 mpg city and 20 mpg highway consistently. I got the car thinking the AWD feature will add safety and performance for the New England winter but it does so with many sacrifications, especially the gas mileage is unexceptable.

I once loved it, but its a terrible car - 2004 Infiniti G35
By Chris - August 8 - 4:30 amLet me start by saying I love the look, feel and performance of this car. But thats where it ends. I have had problem after problem after problem with this car. Heres the list - power locks, speakers, CD changer, navigation system, cruise control, steering wheel audio controls, brakes, brake calipers...and thats just what was replaced! They cant figure out why I get noise from my moonroof and water on the floor when it rains hard or the ticking from my dash when I step on the brakes on a hot day. As much as I love to drive this car...I cant wait to get rid of it. I have owned three Chevys, a Pontiac and a Mazda before this. All of them COMBINED did not have this many problems! Hopefully its a more reliable car now that its six model years later. After all of the problems Ive had with the car as well as dealing with Infiniti themselves, I will NEVER purchase another Infiniti or Nissan product.

Beautiful Gas Hog - 2004 Infiniti G35
By Sergio Lopez - August 3 - 12:53 amBought my G35 with 25000 miles on it fell in love with its styling. Took a test drive at the dealer and noticed a problem with the rotors, big time noise as the car move forward, the faster it went, the louder it got. Told the sales guy to replace the rotors and they did. I then decided to put 20 inch rims on it - WOW! It looks incredible. People just stop and stare 3000 miles later my rotors went south on me. Another thing is the gas mileage is horrible. If youre a lead foot then I hope you have deep pockets. Remember it only takes 93 octanr and at $4.10 a gallon OUCH!

A Joyous Ride - 2004 Infiniti G35
By JasonS - July 15 - 5:16 pmIve had my G35 for exactly a year now. It has been an absolute blast to drive (straight line it might not be the fastest, but cornering and grip with some summer tires on it and its second to none). Unfortunately, Ive put almost 20000 miles on it and the way gas is going that part has not been fun. If Premium ever hits 4.00 in NJ i think ill be forced to trade it in seeing as that Im only getting about 20- 21 MPG lately. But if you want a great ride and to push your car to the limits, this is the car you want

What a car! - 2004 Infiniti G35
By FEPhilippi - May 28 - 10:00 amWhile it may not be the class leader in interior quality, this car certainly makes up for it in other areas. It is certainly amazingly fun to drive. The exhaust note is amazing. I own the six speed manual. WHAT A CAR! Ive loved it ever since I saw the first G35 coupe. Very sleek and beautiful design. While the interior may not be on par with mercedes or BMW, consider the price difference. The Mercedes CLK is NO WHERE as fun to drive or as affordable. You would have to get the CLK500 to get anything near the G35s performance. The 330Ci is just soo common. It isnt as nice, in my oppinion, as the G35 which shouts out sports car!
