Sedans get standard heated outside mirrors, heated front seats and, on leather-equipped six-speed models only, a four-way power passenger seat and a limited-slip differential. Other changes include a standard tire-pressure monitoring system, Low Emissions Vehicle status and a revised front console with an additional cupholder on leather-equipped six-speed coupes. 2004 also sees the addition of an all-wheel-drive sport sedan to the G35 lineup.

By hivpozbud - April 25 - 10:00 amSmooth, powerful, V6, gorgeous design, spacious for the driver/passenger (not so much for the backseat passengers), Definite eye catcher and can keep up with anything in its class and even out of its class. Great feeling shifting and comfy seats.

Search No More! - 2004 Infiniti G35
By B a G35 owner - April 13 - 2:00 amI looked for months for a sporty, four seater vehicle. 95% of my driving is ~20 miles to work, but on weekend I have to take children around. My Q45 looked to staid. I decided on the G35 coupe, and have never looked back I love the handling - and the ability to leave the other drivers in the dust. Its the best!

A nice alternative to SUVs - 2004 Infiniti G35
By St. Louis - April 13 - 2:00 amWe bought our G35 with AWD in December, 03. Winter has brought our area a fair amount of ice and snow. In addition, we have quite a steep driveway. This G35 AWD sedan has exceeded my expectations in the handling with the winter snow/ice conditions of this area. I drove a Lexus LX470 prior to this sedan and I can say that this little sedan holds its own against our SUV. Besides the winter handling, it is a fun car to drive and very attractive. We love this car. I also like the radio controls that are on the steering wheel also, this is a great safety feature.

OK for a second car - 2004 Infiniti G35
By Don Paluh - April 12 - 2:20 pmI got played by the dealer, so I started with a negative attitude. I had several intermittent electrical problems which were never fixed despite several trips to the dealer. For the exceptionally stiff ride and cramped quarters, it doesnt handle any better than my VW Passat. Roll down the window in the rain and get soaked, and the wipers seem to leave a constant puddle on the windshield right in front of my field of view. Fuel economy is well below claims, even if you dont get into it. Cow-catcher front end scrapes most speed bumps and driveway aprons. The rating number is actually going to come out high because of the actual rating questions do not cover any of the problem areas.

Lots of Car - 2004 Infiniti G35
By ART - March 31 - 1:40 pmWith only a few issues, Infiniti would have produced one of the best cars Ive ever driven. Lots of power and extrememly fun to drive. Some lack of detail on the part of the engineers and poor fuel economy keep this from being a 10 all around.

Great drive, great comfort - 2004 Infiniti G35
By Janis - February 26 - 10:00 amThis car is a kick and a half to drive! Drives better than the A4 I used to have and is almost $10K less. I bought the X AWD version since I did not like the reliability in snow with RWD. Acceleration at 55MPH+ is somewhat sluggish, so I throw it into 3rd using the tiptronic shifter and then it GOES! Just a few very small imporvements and this car would be absolutely perfect!

2004 G35x One year review - 2004 Infiniti G35
By paradigmslug - January 20 - 8:50 amI just took my car in for my 15K (13.3K actual)maintenance. Overall I still love the vehicle after one full year. More than enough power for my needs and it is still a very comfortable ride. For those following the brake issues, my front and rear brakes were at 8 mil( the delearship was very forthcoming of their 36000 mile extended warranty if the brakes needed replacement). They stated they will replace the brakes at around 2 to 3 mil left. My only significant complaint is that my car (black) is showing many paint chips. Supposedly this was caused by EPA reformulation of paint requirements but I havent found those requirements, any help would be greatly appreciated on this one.

Not your fathers Infiniti - 2004 Infiniti G35
By HollyK - January 13 - 10:00 amIve had my 6 speed manual trans G35 coupe for a little over two months and its GREAT. If you are looking for something practical or sensible do NOT get this car, but if you want something that makes your driving experience a joy this is the car for you. I was ready to get a BMW 325i until I test drove this car.. just pulling out of the dealers lot for the test drive made me laugh out loud. What a rush!

G35X Major Front Brake Problems - 2004 Infiniti G35
By sarahcuse - December 27 - 2:16 pmI recently took Infiniti to arbitration concerning faulty front brakes. I had terrible screaching. Six attempts to fix it. The case came down to a shim issue. They insisted that original shim would fix problem but that was not the case. They truly do not know what is wrong with front braking system. If they do they sure led the arbitrator and myself down a dead end street. In which case I won. They had to buy back vehicle and return ALL my money. ALL OF IT...Might not be all cars.
