Overview & Reviews
Sedans get standard heated outside mirrors, heated front seats and, on leather-equipped six-speed models only, a four-way power passenger seat and a limited-slip differential. Other changes include a standard tire-pressure monitoring system, Low Emissions Vehicle status and a revised front console with an additional cupholder on leather-equipped six-speed coupes. 2004 also sees the addition of an all-wheel-drive sport sedan to the G35 lineup.
- Powerful V6, balanced and capable handling, roomy cabin, reasonable price.
- Average interior materials quality, touchy brakes.

Wish it were more like my 90 ZX - 2004 Infiniti G35
By ZXzealot - May 21 - 10:00 amOverall the car is good. Not as good as my Nissan 1990 ZX was when I bought it new. The seats are very uncomfortable. Also, not as much shoulder and hip room as the old Z. The suspension is good but not as compliant on rough surfaces as the 90 Z ... has some wheel hop. Road noise is high. Wind noise is high. Has a few rattles and squeaks. The Z was rattle free for 7 years. Dont think of it as a luxury car ... its a sporty car. Cerritos Infiniti has been a great dealer.

nastys G35 mixed coupe review - 2004 Infiniti G35
By nasty - May 21 - 10:00 ambeautiful exterior, great motor, they scrimped on the little things- the struts that should hold the hood up, the seats that should have more adjustments, the plastics that are not up to the rest of car

Brake Eater - 2004 Infiniti G35
By BayouDriver - May 11 - 11:36 pmThis car is fun to drive, great on long trips as well as short. It also looks great and Ive run across several Mercedes owners who looked at both and wished they had bought the G35 Sedan instead. You certainly dont have to worry about having enough power and acceleration for two- lane driving or Interstate maneuvering. But, it does have some maintenance issues that need to be addressed by Infiniti/Nissan relative to their brake wear. I had a Nissan Pathfinder that has brake issues, particularly front and this car eats brakes as well.

Best Car Ive Ever Owned - 2004 Infiniti G35
By David Fortner - April 28 - 7:23 pmPeople ask me why I bought an "expensive" car - my answer is that, over 5 years, its probably cost me less than whatever theyre driving. 140K miles, NOTHING to fix. Oil, brakes, tires - thats it. Runs, looks, feels almost like new. Big power, room, a blast to drive. Quality costs less in the long run.

Great all around luxury performer - 2004 Infiniti G35
By Dmitriy G. - April 26 - 7:50 amI absolutely love this car. Very powerful and smooth, comfy ride. Great handling. I get tons of compliments on the looks. I actually like the design of this model better than the g37 coupe thats out now. I really feel that they took away the aggressiveness out of the exterior design and made it more docile looking like the Lexus sc. The exhaust tone puts a smile on my face each time I start the car. The seats are very comfortable and hold you in place well in the twisties (and you will love the twisties) this car really is in a league of its own as far as price goes and what you get for your money.

Excellent - 2004 Infiniti G35
By Mike - April 25 - 11:06 pmI have been driving the G35x for almost a year now and I cannot get enough of it. I have not had the good fortune of a snow storm (to test the AWD) yet but winter is just starting here in the Washington DC metro area. I recommend this car to anyone considering a BMW 3 series.

Great value - 2004 Infiniti G35
By abckk - April 25 - 10:00 amCompared with BMW 3 & 5 series, this car is as big and fast for thousands less. You cant go wrong with the styling and features.
