This Year's Model Updates:

The G35 is Infiniti's new entry-level luxury sport sedan. Aimed at buyers who would otherwise choose an Audi A4, BMW 3 Series or Lexus IS 300, the G35 offers impressive performance and comfort for a price that's less than most of the competition's.

Pros:
  • Powerful V6, balanced and capable handling, roomy cabin, reasonable price.
Cons:
  • No manual transmission available yet for the sedan, average interior material quality.

I have been in the Automotive business for 20 years plus and was a former STS owner. This is my first Import due to the nature of my business. The G-35 is a great Car.From the straight forwardness of the dealership to the vehicle itself. The interior controls are all common sense (Domestic Mfgs take Note!)as well as the comfort, fit and finish.I love to go anywhere with this car!The ride and handling is subperb and anyone looking for a class act try a G-35. Well Done Infinity!!!

This car handles like a dream, solid and quick. My only complaints are the notchy manual shift linkage and a minor rattle in the rear package panel.

Great handling with powerful sedan at reasonable price. Defintely drviers car. A TRUE sports sedan. (up to now, sports sedan usually meant good handling decent power car or so so handling good power... not any more) Ride is plenty comfortable considering the performance (hard bumps are not as hard as before but small bumps feel a little more pronounced) Great contender for BMW 3 series. PS) The reliability rating is just guess at this point.

Purchased the Luxury Leather model with Premium, Sport, Aero, Sunroof,Xenon, etc. in black/black...car is hot!...Fast, stylish and all this for under $35k...considered A4 3.0 and BMW 330Ci but could not compare for the price...Also, I get the performance of the 3 series and size of the 5 series...cant go wrong...only issue I have is car idles at 400 RPM when in drive at full stop...this wouldnt be a problem except i notice a slight vibration as if the car is struggling not to stall...anyone else notice this?

  • 03 and 04 G35 Coupes - Still have both in 2013 - 2003 Infiniti G35

4 vehicles in the household, BMW, Infiniti QX4, and 2 G35s - an 03 and 04. Have had many other brands. We have kept our G35s all these years as they are a wonderful blend of performance, appearance, and luxury appointments supported by an outstandingly reliable and safe, fun to drive sporty car with usable back seat and cargo/trunk. The only problems - ever - are minor electrical over 9 and 10 years. Door lock actuators on both cars failed ($150 ea) and radio/climate control head repair ($400) on the 04. Both vehicles have about 70k miles garaged but driven year round including rough Canadian winters. Simply unbeatable combination of value, quality, reliability, luxury and fun.

  • Annoying problem - 2003 Infiniti G35

I loved my G35 sedan with premium and sport package for the first few weeks. I figured out how to get the best sound from the Bose with Bass at -1, Treble at -3 or 4, fader at RR1. I had to have the dealer install a foam kit to fix door rattles from the front speakers. Im putting up with the inadequate suspension thats too harsh when driving slow over uneven pavement and jostles you around when turning slowly over a raised surface. But I have little squeaks and rattles that come and go in the right door or dash that cant be pinpointed. Very annoying.

I bought the car for the looks, performance, and value. Unfortunately, since I bought the car it has been in the shop. The car has a pull to the right that Infiniti is unable to resolve. I had issues with my last vehicle purchase - will I ever get a good one?

  • Its not a Honda... - 2003 Infiniti G35

The engine is bulletproof, but the rest of the car... well, it should be riddled with bullets. Everything is rattly and creaky after a year. Before this car, I had 4 Hondas/Acuras and none of them were like this. Moreover, I have had a blown out speaker since the first month I had it, and no Infiniti dealership will replace a door speaker! Agh!

Driving in rush hour never felt so good. Sound system is excelent. Get the wood trim it spruces up the leather. Get a little space on the highway and gigle factor goes thru the roof. I am looking forward to owning this baby for a while.

  • ITS AWESOME!!! - 2003 Infiniti G35

My two problems with this car is the material around the gear and on the door handle and the seat adjusters. The material can be scratch easily. Replaced with a high grade plastic or wood grain and it is an all american.
