This Year's Model Updates:

The sedan receives exterior styling revisions with a new hood, grille, bumpers, side sills, taillights and wheels. Sedans now make as much power as the coupes -- 280 hp (up from 260) and 270 lb-ft of torque (also up from 260) on models with an automatic transmission. Coupes and sedans equipped with a manual transmission get even more power (298 hp) but sacrifice 10 lb-ft of torque. Sedans with the sport suspension package also pick up 18-inch wheels and drilled aluminum pedals. All G35s get a redesigned instrument panel and console area with aluminum or wood trim, and the manual transmission has been improved to provide a lower shifting effort. A Sport version of the coupe debuts this year and includes an even firmer suspension, a limited-slip differential, 19-inch forged alloy wheels and drilled aluminum pedals. Oddly, though, Brembo brakes are no longer available on manual-shift coupes.

Pros:
  • Powerful V6, balanced and capable handling, roomy cabin, reasonable price.
Cons:
  • Average interior materials quality, touchy brakes.

Truly fun to drive, excellent handling and best value for the money in its class. Intelligent key is awesome, no need to take the key out. I always find reasons to take the car out. It has been 4 months after I bought this car. No regrets or no complaints so far.

I test drove the BMW325 and the Audi A4 1.8 both good cars, but after driving the G35 there was no comparison. The G35 V6, 280 HP loaded with features has an unbeatable price, performance and best of all ACCELERATION, just step on that pedal and youll understand whats under the hood. Great car to drive!

With out a doubt the sexiest coupe for the money. Great off the line, it is a pleasure see everyone in your rearview mirror. Suprisingly, the rear seats are roomy. I have 2 girls (9 & 13) and they fit just fine. It doubles as a famly car, but its all sportcar. It is tight on the curves. You feel like one with the road. The power is not wasted with spin outs. The tires bite and you fly. Im going back to the dealer for a second one. "A must have, enjoy!!"

I just bought this car used with 50k miles. We have been getting a lot of snow lately and my AWD G35 handles great in snow. My driveway drifts every year and I didnt even shovel it out. I wanted to test my G35 and it got right out. The car looks awesome as well, and the 280 hp is sweet too. This is the closest thing to German engineering. The handling, performance, horsepower minus the reliability problems that German cars are known for. I wish it had better gas mileage but I know its my fault because I have a heavy foot at times.

Ive owned some nice cars (Mercedes & Lexus) over the years, but Ive never found myself going to the garage to admire any of the other cars. The G35 is a nice blend of sport and luxury. However, dont expect to get the soft and quiet ride you might expect in a luxury sedan. The design of the G35 is elegant, both inside and out, but it is really a polished sports car. I went with the 18" wheels because of the design as well as the more forgiving suspension (versus the 19" wheel and sport suspension package). Ive had the car a month now and am always looking for reasons to drive it. My wife says shes never seen me so eager to run errands before!

What a car. Looks Great, rides great, goes like jack the bear. Have driven a few BMW`s and while the peformance was something, they were not as much fun as this car.

I had seen this car in my garage at work and thought Id just go check it out at the dealers. I had NO idea that I would be made one with the car at the first acceleration. I had a 99 BMW 323i with all bells and whistles..that car didnt even compare. The interior design of the G35 is luxury and comfort matched exquisitely..the power and control of the engine/suspension is breathtaking.

Have had this car for 18 months and still enjoy driving as much as day one. This is not a good winter car but cant beat it for summer driving.

  • Maxima to G35 - 2005 Infiniti G35

Great driving car! Much better than FWD maxima, but not as much room. Reworked interior much improved for 2005,also more power. Feels as if your in a V-8. Had to give up sunroof due to headroom, and seat could be longer for better thigh support, but the way it handles makes up for having a smaller space. Anyone under 63" should be OK.

You cant find more bang and amenities for the buck. Considered BMW, 350Z, Audi TT, IS300, and others, but could not get the performance or features for anything close to the G. Best car and most fun to drive of any Ive owned.
