  • There is no competition for the G Coupe! - 2004 Infiniti G35

This car is in a class by itself. Acura and Lexus dont even have comparable cars, and the European brands are too expensive and unreliable. I bought a Caribbean Blue 2004 Coupe 6MT from Nationwide Infiniti of Timonium, MD. There were only around 5 new Caribbean Blue 6MTs left in the US at the start of November. It was the least made color and is extremely beautiful and I get endless compliments where ever I go. I wanted an attention-getting color! Ive never had a new car purchase go so smoothly and without a bunch of BS! The G eats up the miles with ease- Brock Yates of Car & Driver magazine chose it as his pick for a car to drive across the country with a companion.

Amazing car. BMW and Mercedes now have some stiff competition from Infiniti. For the money you cant find a better car.

You have to love this car - it is VERY fast. I had to get a four door for sales, but loved my two-door so this review will be skewed.

Got this car 1 week ago. This thing rules. I get compliments every time I park it. Fun to drive. Lots of power. Corners like it is on rails. Customer service is very helpful. Im gonna pick up more chicks than you can shake a stick at!

  • Value Price Tag but Costly to Drive - 2004 Infiniti G35
    By -

After over 2 years, Im starting to see that the G35 can be costly to drive. I only get about 20 mpg combined w/mostly highway driving on a 6MT(below EPA estimates). Im filling my tank about as often as I filled up my previous car that had a tank half as big and took regular UL. The rear tires were at the 2mm wear limit after only 22k mi -- tires that cost about $250/tire. The Brembo pads will probably last to almost 50k mi, but will cost three times as much as other pads. Rotor swaps will cost over a grand. Even so...the handling, acceleration, and exterior styling still bring a smile to my face. The interior lacks a bit. The NAV is difficult to use because of the jumpy joystick.

  • G35 Coupe Black Beast - 2004 Infiniti G35

Interestingly enough I did not expect this car to impress me this way even after all the reviews that I read and research that I did. However I can say that every day that I get in it I have been finding something else to be proud of, and as picky as I am that is no small feat indeed. This thing is so chock full of torque, that anyone who buys anything else who is looking for raw power at under 50 grand has just got to be kidding me.

  • BMW 330 Killer - 2004 Infiniti G35

I have always longed for a MBW 3-series but when I test drove a BMW330i sedan in 2004 I balked at the price and walked away wanting a little more torque and horsepower. I am very impressed with the higher torque and horsepower of the g35s sweet V6 and the smoothness of its five-speed automatic transmission. The G35s handling and braking characteristics are at least as good as the 330i sedan and both the interior and the exterior are more attractive. Even after test drving the newly redesigned 2005 BMW sedan I still have no regrets.

  • Sheek Sophistication - 2004 Infiniti G35

I loved this vehicle from the moment I laid eyes on it driving my previous car down the highway. I immediatly searched the web for pricing information on this vehicle. I couldnt believe how affordable this it was compared to the qualiy and style that is offered. It is worth every cent if not more!

  • Rattles and squeaks - 2004 Infiniti G35
    By -

Have had car for 18 mths now and have had to take the car in for service to address rattles and squeaks 5X now. Everytime I get on rattle fixed, another pops up a few weeks later. Overall build quality is poor and has soured me on the Infiniti name plate
