Overview & Reviews
Sedans get standard heated outside mirrors, heated front seats and, on leather-equipped six-speed models only, a four-way power passenger seat and a limited-slip differential. Other changes include a standard tire-pressure monitoring system, Low Emissions Vehicle status and a revised front console with an additional cupholder on leather-equipped six-speed coupes. 2004 also sees the addition of an all-wheel-drive sport sedan to the G35 lineup.
- Powerful V6, balanced and capable handling, roomy cabin, reasonable price.
- Average interior materials quality, touchy brakes.

Great car... - 2004 Infiniti G35
By B Ross - October 1 - 2:00 amHands down, most car for the $$ available in the US. Great acceleration, handling, and fantastic sound system. I compared every sedan and coupe under $40k, and the G35 has it all. Except for M3 ($50k) and RS6 ($60k), this coupe blows everything from Germany away- without the expensive maintanence. Only drawbacks are typical of sports coupes- small trunk (but rear seats fold down making it more useful) and headroom for tall drivers. Im 63" and barely clear the headliner- opt out of the sunroof if youre tall.

A True Drivers Car - 2004 Infiniti G35
By fgpme - September 26 - 10:00 amAfter lusting for a German car since high school, Infiniti won me over. The G35 has more power than any rear-driver in its class. The interior is luxurious and the 6-speed makes it a missle on wheels. Its a great looking design that will age well and its drivetrain makes it the best in its class. It was Car and Drivers 2003 Car of the Year for a reason--nothing else in this price range comes close. Auf Wiedersehen, BMW!

Best of the Bunch - 2004 Infiniti G35
By JSAMD - September 20 - 10:00 amPrior to picking up my G35X, I looked at several other AWD vehicles, including BMW, Volvo, Mercedes, and Audi. The bang for the buck value was overwhelmingly in favor of the Infiniti. I drove the G35X in blizzards, rainstorms, and all kinds of nasty weather. The AWD performed flawlessly. This car handles like a dream on curvy mountain roads, and can out accelerate most cars on the road, as well as outbrake them. My only minor complaint is the gas mileage, which has been under 20 mpg in mixed driving conditions. Overall, this is a great car.

Better Car than my previous BMW - 2004 Infiniti G35
By quidycat - September 1 - 10:00 amI had a 2000 BMW and liked it a lot. When I saw the Infiniti G35 coupe and test drove it, I was surprised that it was more fun to drive than my BMW with more horse power. Handling is precise. The car is very responsive. The interior is more comtemporary and well equipped compared to BMWs more traditional minimalist feel. It really is a fun car. A simliar midsize BMW or Audi with similar options and specifications would cost about $10,000 more than G35. I love my new G35 am glad I didnt get another BMW.

Unbeatable - 2004 Infiniti G35
By G35 PWR - August 27 - 11:13 pmAbout 4 months in to my G35 coupe and I love it. Absolutely stunning from all angles with class. Very fast and very aggressive. Makes ya feel like a kid when you need and makes ya feel classy and well established when pulling up to any valley parking.

Fun to drive - 2004 Infiniti G35
By NKLitt - August 19 - 2:00 amI have had this car for a month now. After doing extensive research and attending a car show, I made the decision to go with the G35. It is clearly the best car for the money. The engine is incredible and has the handling to go along with it. I love the AWD feature as well as the design. Plenty of room for 4, which you dont realize by looking at it from the outside. The only down side is the fuel economy in the city is nowhere near what its supposed to be. I have gotten 16mi/gl. Also they could have had more wood paneling on the dash area. Overall I would highly recommend the G35 sedan.
