Overview & Reviews
Sedans get standard heated outside mirrors, heated front seats and, on leather-equipped six-speed models only, a four-way power passenger seat and a limited-slip differential. Other changes include a standard tire-pressure monitoring system, Low Emissions Vehicle status and a revised front console with an additional cupholder on leather-equipped six-speed coupes. 2004 also sees the addition of an all-wheel-drive sport sedan to the G35 lineup.
- Powerful V6, balanced and capable handling, roomy cabin, reasonable price.
- Average interior materials quality, touchy brakes.

Cardiomans Response - 2004 Infiniti G35
By Joel Davidson - July 21 - 2:00 amThis car is fun to drive. I especiallly like the way it turns and accelerates coming out of a turn. Really gives you an exhilirating feeling. The 5-sp. automatic gives the feel of a manual when youre in the shift mode, instead of just keeping it in drive. You can feel and hear the power of this car--it growls without being a muscle car. Instead, youve got a big, strong beast just waiting to be unleashed when youre ready. I love the looks of this car--reminds me of the Audi TT but with more rear seat room. My wife loves the heated front seats and dual temperature controls.

Love this Car - 2004 Infiniti G35
By justdad - July 15 - 2:00 amI have had my g35 sedan for 8 weeks now. I took it on one trip so far. What a pleasure to drive and it was very comfortable for the 3 of us. I took the same trip 6 months earlier in my Moms 2001 es300 and it did not compare, not even close. We went to Laughlin both times and my mom tends to get car sick. She did not even know that we had gone through the hilly part till I told her this time. The ride was more than pleasent and the shifting with the auto trans cvt you could not even feel even when I used some of its 260 horsepower.

Oh what a Joy - 2004 Infiniti G35
By RFmaster - July 8 - 10:53 pmTest drove 330is, GS430, and TL. G35 sedan had the most interior room for me (61). Best deal in town under invoice and 1.9% financing for 36month. Wonderful drive quality, very comfortable, torque is ample and available at any speed. Cornering is excellent for a larger car. Great BOSE stereo and all safety options. Dealer was just itching to get cars out of the lot. No gas mileage figures yet still breaking in that 3.5 L engine. Great overall value.

The Problems - 2004 Infiniti G35
By jbmagic - June 17 - 6:33 amI want to first say that this is a great car thats very comfortable for the driver and quick as well. The problems are the front tires seem to wear on the insides. Im going on my fourth set of tires in the front with 34,000 miles. Since the rear wheels and tires are larger than the fronts you cant rotate at all. The tires make excessive road noise when they wear in this manner. My second complaint is gas mileage. I average 15 miles per gallon and have for three years with this car. Im an adult and while I drive sort of fast Im far from a speed demon. Lastly is the turning radius. Its very large and almost impossible to turn around in on a side street. Other than that a great car

G35, fun to drive - 2004 Infiniti G35
By lpollak - June 9 - 2:00 amThis is the most fun in a car under $30k you are likely to find. The performance is unmatched, including power, handling, and braking, even with the extra weight of the AWD. The design and options are very nice too, making it a great blend of sporty and luxurious. The accent is on sporty, so if your major concern is lux materials in the interior, you may want to shop around. But if you are looking for a great ride at a reasonable price, this is it.

1st year review - 2004 Infiniti G35
By G35 Coupe Owner - June 3 - 9:06 pmGreat performance. Still get positive comments on the design. Fun to drive. Only issue is tightness. Several rattles and the sunroof is very noisy (creakes with any body flex at all). Mileage is average, which is fine for the performance.
