This Year's Model Updates:

The G35 is Infiniti's new entry-level luxury sport sedan. Aimed at buyers who would otherwise choose an Audi A4, BMW 3 Series or Lexus IS 300, the G35 offers impressive performance and comfort for a price that's less than most of the competition's.

Pros:
  • Powerful V6, balanced and capable handling, roomy cabin, reasonable price.
Cons:
  • No manual transmission available yet for the sedan, average interior material quality.

  • Best car in class - 2003 Infiniti G35
    By -

This car is unmatched in terms of acceleration, handling, fun to drive factor. The car is well worth the money even if you buy it second hand. The VQ35 series engine is amazing, and pulls hard when you open it up. The car will drink gas, but it gets decent mpg if you dont punch it every chance you get. Also the warranty is great.

I was initially considering buying a Honda S2000 but after I saw the G35 in an article in an popular auto magazine, I had to test drive one. It was love at first drive. It handles incredibly well and turns heads wherever I go.

For $31,000 this is an thoroughly enjoyable car. Great acceleration, good handling, great breaks, fun to drive, comfortable. Thus far, no problems other than I need to find more reasons to drive it. My biggest complaint is I cant read the clock at night. Really satisfied with my choice. Some reviews have complained that there should be more standard features, howeveI feel the G35 offers alot for the price.

  • Race Car fun for under $32,000 - 2003 Infiniti G35

This car is incredibly fun to drive. The sport tuned suspenstion, areo package, leather and a 200 watt jammin bose stero make this car the one to own & drive. I love the looks that I get. This car gets right up and goes with its smooth transmision - takes off like a rocket that sets you back in your seat.My dealership treats me with class& professionalism. Free car washes with cappicino & cookies while I wait. Livin large baby!

  • G35 3 year update - 2003 Infiniti G35

Despite the squeaks and occasional groans this is the best car Ive owned. It brings back memories of my first muscle car (1970.5 Camaro), and I cant complain about fuel economy. The Camaro only averaged 7 mpg! The 1.29 per litre (about $ 4.25 US per US gallon) costs do hurt, however. Service was initially great, but has gradually gone downhill, I think the dealer cant cope with the number of Infinitis sold. I used to get an M45 loaner when the G was in for service, last time I got an Altima. Front brakes were replaced under warranty 6 months ago, rears are about 35% at 30,000 km.

Having owned a 350Z and now the G35 coupe there is no comparison. This car came with all the bells & whistles except satellite radio. Full aero package, winter package (heated seats), navigation, premium package etc. This car is simply outstanding in looks, build and driveability. Lexus bought back my GX470 so I bought the G35 & a Chevy truck. The G35 drives so well & is a shear delight. Go drive one!

I have had FWD since my 74 Audi Fox, but when I drove the G35 I loved it. Great throttle response. No lag like my Turbo Saab. What a great value for the money. This is my 2nd Infiniti and the dealer service is great. Cant wait to take it on some windy roads. I passed on an A6 to buy this car.

  • BEWARE OF BRAKE WEAR - 2003 Infiniti G35
    By -

I have had the car about 10 months. Great car overall no mechanical problems. Took car in for 15K service. Given estimate for $200. Left with $870 bill. The front brake rotors had to be replaced and the front and rear pads needed to be replaced. I found out that on virtually ALL the G35s the rotors needed to be replaced at around the 15K service. Infiniti is aware of this problem of "soft rotors" but so far has not considered this a warrantee issue. My dealer gave me a 10% discount to bring the bill to less than $900 - lucky me. IF Infiniti does not take care of this problem I will try to get rid of the car. Too bad since I like it. BEWARE

  • Great alternative to bmw - 2003 Infiniti G35

I love this car very fun to drive unique styling and a great alternative to bmws. BMWs are nice cars too but for the price you cant beat it!
