This Year's Model Updates:

Sedans get standard heated outside mirrors, heated front seats and, on leather-equipped six-speed models only, a four-way power passenger seat and a limited-slip differential. Other changes include a standard tire-pressure monitoring system, Low Emissions Vehicle status and a revised front console with an additional cupholder on leather-equipped six-speed coupes. 2004 also sees the addition of an all-wheel-drive sport sedan to the G35 lineup.

Pros:
  • Powerful V6, balanced and capable handling, roomy cabin, reasonable price.
Cons:
  • Average interior materials quality, touchy brakes.

  • What a car! - 2004 Infiniti G35

While it may not be the class leader in interior quality, this car certainly makes up for it in other areas. It is certainly amazingly fun to drive. The exhaust note is amazing. I own the six speed manual. WHAT A CAR! Ive loved it ever since I saw the first G35 coupe. Very sleek and beautiful design. While the interior may not be on par with mercedes or BMW, consider the price difference. The Mercedes CLK is NO WHERE as fun to drive or as affordable. You would have to get the CLK500 to get anything near the G35s performance. The 330Ci is just soo common. It isnt as nice, in my oppinion, as the G35 which shouts out sports car!

As a previous BMW 3 series owner, Ive found the 6MT a great value. The engine can be a little loud during acceleration, but otherwise the car is great. I would recommend getting the summer tires, rather than the M+S versions (unless you live up north). When cornering aggressively, the grip seems to loose it occasionally. (I also wish they offered the car with a wider tire option with the sports package- 215s just seem a little weak compared to the available power and competitive offers).

Car does everything I ask with no complaints. Large savings over competition with at least equal results. Arrive quickly and refreshed every time no matter the road. Would definately buy again

This car makes you want to drive. I am constantly volunteering to run errands, just to drive this car. Totally thrilling, eye catching and sexy. The premium package is a must. The sport package and aero package finishes the look and feel of a true sports car.

  • This wonderful car. - 2004 Infiniti G35

I bought this car last year and ity has been wonderful. I prevouisly owned a Honda Oddessy and this handles better, is more comfortable, and takes the bumbs pretty well. This car has an awsome updated Boss Stero system and it has AWD for the could winters here in Vermont. I love this wonderful car.

  • 2004 G35 Coupe 6MT - 2004 Infiniti G35

I bought this car solely because of how Motor Trend rated it as Car of the Year. The car is very fast, but the tire road noise from the stock Michelin tires is loud and roaring. The paint chips/scratches easy. We only put about 18K on the car already since new and had to replace the front brakes already. Considering selling it and going with a BMW or Mercedes, not at all what I expected from Infiniti. The auto transmission occasionally shifts very hard, had it checked by the dealer, but they could not repeat the problem. The garage door opener paint is fading off. The back seats are not for adults, no head room.

  • The Coupe thats worth its price - 2004 Infiniti G35
    By -

The infiniti G35 Coupe is definitely a bargain for its price. though the Japanese version (the Nisaan Skyline 350 GT) has more horsepower its about $$100,000.000 the G35 Coupe is roughly $$30,000.000. This car drives better than Sedans I wanted to buy like The Acura TL and Volvo S 60 R. This car is luxurious and glamorous. If you really want a bargain, get this car, if you want an overpriced coupe, go get a porsche. to sum up this review. This car is almost perfect.
