  • 1 Year mark and still turning heads - 2004 Infiniti G35

When I first got the car, I was always approached. Now, a year later, I still get those looks. The car is great, handles well, and very reliable. For the winter (I live in NYC) I opted for 18" Toyo Winter tires, this was I would not be limited to driving it in the snow. Highly recommend

  • one persons opinion - 2004 Infiniti G35

The coupe is absolutely the most enjoyable car Ive ever driven. Accelaration is quick, braking even quicker. VDS helped me avoid a rear end collision, swerving in control and stopping safely. The navigation is unbelievable- "you have arrived at your destination on your left" how more accurate can you get?

  • Good car but needs some improvement. - 2004 Infiniti G35

Good car, well equipped for a sport coupe, excellent 3-D view Navigation screen, controls are well placed, though the buttons on the steering wheel do not light up at night time. Orange looking instrument cluster blends with the red arrows and its difficult to read.Tachometer is on the wrong side. Right hand armrest is very low and misplaced. Close ratio manual transmission is absolutely useless.Gears need to be changed all the time.It keeps high RPM on all gears, even 6th.,which results in a massive fuel consumption.Engine is powerful but lacks low end torque. Generally good car, needs power plant, manual transmission and some interior improvement.

  • Beware of stolen xenon - 2004 Infiniti G35

Regarding the Xenon headlights on the 2004 Infiniti G35s. Apparently it has become very popular to steal these Xenon headlights from the G35s within a 1 to 2 minute time frame. I know, as Ive had mine stolen three times in 6 months at a replacment cost of $3,500 each time. And just last night they attempted to steal them a 4th time!

  • I was a believer - 2004 Infiniti G35

I thought I had done my research when purchasing a used Coupe. You should go to the users forums for the best information - I didnt and paid a hefty price. The G35 is an entry level Infiniti. It has poor interior materials that damage easily and it rattles like a spray paint can. It was also in the shop for some fairly substantial warranty repairs and the dealer damaged interior parts. A "Regional Manager" rode with me once and said he couldnt fix all of the rattles so get used to them. The rattles and squeaks were bad enough to make me get rid of the car for a loss. If you want the same, if not better, performance get the 350Z. Its cheaper. Poor customer service! Shame on U!

  • mixed feelings - 2004 Infiniti G35

I bought this car and almost traded in my IS 300. im glad I didnt. The G coupe is fun in the manual but the brembo brakes wear quickly and the tire noise is unbelievable. Im thankful for the Bose for that one fact. Sometimes I love this car, other times it drives me nuts. Oh, the clutch wore out at 53K - of course the Atlanta traffic doesnt help things.

  • summer only - 2004 Infiniti G35

Fun to drive in good weather.Very poor in snow. Even with traction control this car is a fair weather friend only.

  • Fun Car - 2004 Infiniti G35
    By -

This is only the second car that Ive owned but I love this one so my next one (335i) will have to surpass this. The only complaint that I really have is that I feel like Im filling up my gas tank all the time! Other than that, I havent had any problems with it and its a really fun car to drive.
