Cons:
  • Average interior materials quality, touchy brakes.

  • All wheel drive a great car. - 2004 Infiniti G35

Bought this car in the winter. We had a lot of snow, and this car was fantastic. snow mode is a nice feature. Great car in bad weather. On dry pavement, turn off the vdc and slam the accelerator at corners and you are in for a ride. I use to have a 3 series BMW. This car outperforms it and is about 10k less than a 330 with all wheel drive. Great value. I wish I didnt need four doors or I would have gotten the coupe with more horses.

  • The cheaper fun factor! - 2004 Infiniti G35

Owned 1999 BMW 323 sport and 2002 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro. Ever since AWD Ive been addicted... The car is fun to drive! This blows away may my previous vehicles for fun to drive (acceleration) though the 323 did handle tighter. Highway experience is much more enjoyable than the others. Unfortunately it will be to the dealers the third time in the first month of ownership - thus confirming JD powers low score - I wish it came out earlier as I may have paused to buy the 2005 version instead (assuming that they learned from the past). Issues after 1 month: XM receiver will be replaced twice. Doors rattles (speaker loose and cables rubbing) 3 times in s

  • KEEP AWAY! BAD BRAKES! - 2004 Infiniti G35

Trust me. This car is a nightmare with the brakes. If you dont believe me, research all of the comments online. We have had the car for 5 years, and have replaced the brakes 5 times! EVERY YEAR!! The car only has 52,000 miles on it. Every time you have to replace the brakes/rotors it is $500. I want to get rid of this lemon!!!!

  • NICE but could offer more - 2004 Infiniti G35

I purchased the G35 sedan with the premium sports package (upgraded brakes, bose sound system, rear spoiler, etc.) in May. This car is FUN to drive and handles like a dream. Trottle response and sport shifting is remarkable for an automatic. After testing several competing models, the G35 is the quickest and has the tightest suspension. More amenities would make this car much more attractive to "average buyer". Who is going to push a family sedan to 130mph on a consistent basis? The G35 needs more luxury items to match the TL and Saab 9 to balance out its superior performance.

Aside from some first-year rattles, this car has been fabulous. Most fun to drive car Ive ever had. An exceptional value for all this sportiness, luxury, and head-turning appeal. Infiniti service has been great.

  • Radio Off Windows Open - 2004 Infiniti G35

This car has one good feature, acceleration. Suspension has you bouncing off the ceiling, the brakes off the front window, the steering is touchy and you sway back and forth. Fun to drive but rotten to be a passenger.

  • Grin Machine - 2004 Infiniti G35

I traded in a 2005 Nissan Altima for a 2004 Infiniti G35x, and paid the same price for a much better vehicle. It has all the toys such as the snow package, DVD, Bose, etc. (fully loaded) and feel I have a MUCH better vehicle than the Altima. I still grin when I jump in and the AWD is perfect for Wisconsin winters. I feel safer with the safety features and a 4 door sedan is perfect for a family of 3 (daughter in back seat). All in all, the best vehicle I had ever owned, and I have owned toyotas, GMs, Jeeps, and a 1998 BMW 3 series. Cant wait to get my hands on a 2007 or 2008 G sedan in a few years. Way to go Infiniti/Nissan!

  • Second Childhood Car - 2004 Infiniti G35

I am a 50 yr old female who is having a ball and all of my friends want to ride. The biggest problem is keeping my husband and my two sons, 23 and 24 out of my car so I can drive it. Great acceleration response for highway merging. Tight stearing but touchy brakes. Love the engine sound! Comfortable driver seating. Back seat is a little close but not unexpected. Climate control is really good. Love the dual comfort zone feature. Fun car to drive. Definitely an attention getter. You want to stay in it all of the time.

  • Fantastic Sports Sedan - 2004 Infiniti G35

Ive had the car for 5 months now and it is about everything you could want in a car in this class. Its comfortable, good looking, smooth and powerful. It has a few quirks of design but any car does. It is a very solid car and has many great features. The best thing about it is the driving experience, it is quite visceral and the car just growls everywhere it goes.

  • First Impression - 2004 Infiniti G35

This car is a treat. I am thoroughly pleased with the quality of the construction and materials used on this vehicle except for the paint, which seems to be a soft and deforms easily. This vehicle combines sport and class very well. Some features, like heated and motorized movement of seats when entering the back, arnt necessary but add to the luxury of the vehicle. I like the subtile attention to small details such as the multitude of windshield wiper speed adjustments and, automated window movement; when opening and closing the doors it produces a tight seal against the rubber door seals yet prevents premature seal wear. The left foot rest sh
