I like this car immensely. I wish it had a smoother transmission, but it is not bad, only 1st gear is a little goosy. The fit and finish is comparable to Lincoln, Lexus and BMW. It is far better than the small Cadillac CTS. It is a great all day cruiser and is exceptional in mountain terrain with its Selectronic transmission. I have been getting 29.7 mpg on highways trips at speeds of 70-75 mph with a/c on. It is not that good in stop and go traffic more like 20-22. This car has just about every conceivable option that one could want except a telescoping steering wheel, which I would like. I would also like to have a chirp signal to let me know the doors are locked when parking. Great Car.

  • I LOVE MY HYUNDAI - 2004 Hyundai XG350

HYUNDAI IS FAIRLY NEW TO THE MARKET AND I WAS WORRIED ABOUT THIS. WE BOUGHT IT BECAUSE OF THE SIGNIFICANT SAVINGS VS. THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF FEATURES. IT TURNED OUT TO BE A FABULOUS VALUE FOR A FABULOUS CAR. WE HAD A LOT OF ICE AND SNOW ON CAPE COD THIS WINTER AND I DID NOT SLIP EVEN ONCE IN SPITE OF BEING OUT IN ONE OF THE WORST SNOW AND ICE AND STORMS ON THE CAPE IN YEARS. THE DAY I PICKED IT UP IT WAS ALSO SNOW AND ICE ALL THE WAY HOME. MY HUSBAND WAS FOLLOWING ME IN A 300SDL MERCEDES WHICH WAS SLIPPING, WHILE MY NEW HYUNDAI WAS NOT.

  • Almost bought an Infiniti - 2004 Hyundai XG350

Really wanted to get an Infiniti. 40K for the model I wanted seemed a bit steep. My wife has a Sonata which she loves, so I tried the XG350. Has a great look and filled with gadgets. The interior is gorgeous. Drives great and since my travel is almost all freeway dont know what Edmunds is talking about with their confused transmission remark. All this for a lot less. Hope the 100,000 mile warranty is as advertised.

  • Show Me One Better, and I Will Buy It! - 2004 Hyundai XG350

I traded a 2000 Cadillac Seville on my 2004 XG350L and in comparison the Cadillac was an over-rated piece of sh*t. Prior to the Cadillac I had a Lincoln Town Car. Both cars ran and rode fine but the problem with American cars is once they turn 5 years old and exceed 100,000 miles on them not only is it time to replace them, you have no value left in them. This really burns me for what you pay for them. I went with the Hyundai for the warranty but did not figure I would be as impressed as I was because with the Lincoln and Cadillac I had grown accustomed to a certain level of luxury. Well the XG350 far surpassed my expectations to say the least.

I am a 67 year old widow whos husband retired from Ford in Dearborn, MI and was a firm believer in "Buying American". The only thing my husband would put me in is Big American Luxury cars, mainly Ford because of the employee discounts. I guess he would roll in his grave if he could see what I am driving now! When is the American Auto Manufacturers going to get it? People want to most value for their hard earned dollar. My husband used to wash, wax, change the oil, etc in our cars. Well my Hyundai dealer changes the oil in my XG350L for life for "FREE". Now how can I beat that?

The 350XL car is one of the best vehicles I have owned...which includes brands...CADILLAC, BMW, MERCEDES, OLDS, MAZDA, NISSAN. This auto has more features than expected and is a pleasure to drive. I like it...and it likes me. Its reliable and drives like a Lincoln LS or BMW 3 CLASS....with comfort and too many features to list here. Korea has their act together. Pete

  • Got To Love It! - 2004 Hyundai XG350

The XG350L has all the goodies of the Avalon XLS at $7,000 less (list price). Love the smooth and quite ride, fit and finish of the car, and love the memory seats with the auto seat feature allowing for getting in and out of the car so easy. I formerly drove Acura TL, Volkswagen Passat GLX and this has the same build quality at a much better price. I cant understand the reviewers talking about the transmission hunting. The transmission and brakes are outstanding parts of the experience. All heads turn when Im on the road trying to find out what brand of car this is. All my friends are absolutely astounded by the looks, both on the outside and inside.
