I purchased the AWD Tuscon in January 06, just in time for a huge New England blizzard. The Tuscon performed magnificantly, and has continued to be a great vehicle. Its a lot of vehicle for the sticker price, loaded with all the options except leather seats. I love how it looks, it handles like a car and has enough quickness to get out of any situations. Its a solid buy, great value and you cant beat the 10 year 100,000 mile warranty.

  • My First SUV - 2006 Hyundai TUCSON

I purchased my Tuscon in November of 2005 and absolutely love it! I have always wanted an SUV and this fit my budget and the safety ratings sealed the deal. It was wonderful in the snow and ice this past winter and has driven beautifully on the beach this summer. I love the fold flat back seats and my kids like the fact that the back seats recline back a bit. I do wish it had better gas milage. It really only gets driven around town and the mileage is up to 17.5. Also, I find the center arm rest great for storage, my not so much for resting my arm! Needs to be higher and more forward. I would buy another SUV from Hyundai anytime :)

I have had my tucson for a year now and have just over 14000 miles, and have had no problems once so ever, runs flawlessly. I Have noticed that my gas mileage has improved once hitting the 10000 mile mark, now getting a constant 20 mpg in city and 25-26 on hwy. I have made several moderate length trips to family in another state and felt comfortable the whole way, has no trouble keeping up with traffic 80-90 mph. Have had no problems keeping the a/c going with the extreme heat of 100+, I am very pleased with this car. Can fit in rear seat with front seats all the way back.

I own 2006 Tucson diesel automatic UK spec bought new, I have had no problems with it whatsoever the acceleration is outstanding. Around town the mpg is 28, on a run I have achieved 54 mpg. The mpg figures obtained in the usa models are to say the least dire. Get a diesel much better

I love driving my tucson. We have four car seats in the car! We have no problem fitting in. Also it is pretty fast for the price. I chose this car over the Ford Escape because of price and power.

Fun to drive and cute too. I am very happy I purchased this vehicle. I would definitely buy another one. She turns on a dime and very easy to maneuver. Shifts smooth and the clutch is real easy. LOVE the stereo and all the standard features. Excellent for the money! Cant wait for snow!

Bought my tucson in june of 2006 with careful consideration, I love this car, it has great handling, manuervabilty and easy to drive. I like the rear seats fold flat for hauling things, and the rear window opens as well as the door. the tucson has five star crash test for the front as well as the sides. although the tucson can use little bit more horse power, I am quite happy with the performance after 10 thousand miles. I am getting 19.5-20.5 mpg in town and 23-24 mpg on highway going 80 mph+. I also like the mirrors that fold both ways to prevent someone walking by and breaking them.

  • Hyundai just earned a loyal customer - 2006 Hyundai TUCSON

I never thought Id own a Hyundai but after driving it, pricing it out at $7,000 LESS than a similarly-equipped 06 Toyota RAV-4 Limited V6, and examining the unbelievable warranty (100,000 miles on the powertrain), I was sold. I got a great deal, too, under invoice. Unless youre worried about overpaying for a nameplate to impress your neighbors, this is a no- brainer if you want a small SUV.

I am pleased with the overall value of my Tucson ,but the mileage it is getting is a big disappointment. But besides that, I am very happy with my decision to buy the Tucson.

More than we expected, even considering the excellent reviews wed read. This is our third Hyundai (2 Elantras), and over the course of 70K plus miles, weve never had a single problem.
