Great little SUV - 2005 Hyundai TUCSON
By Stockton Tucson - October 11 - 3:50 amI traded in a 1999 Pathfinder for this used 2005 Tucson. So far it does most of what I expected it to do. I did loose some cargo and tow capacity with the trade, but the extra MPG makes up for it. It could have more road handling. You dont want to push it too hard into the corners. The stock stereo had to go. I couldnt hear it on the freeway if all the windows were down. The tie downs in the back could be a bit stronger or moved off of the cover.

Ho Hum Hyundai - 2005 Hyundai TUCSON
By CB500Rider - August 13 - 9:56 amMy wifes 2000 Accent got wrecked. It was a good car and shed been asking for an SUV. Because of the reliabilty, service, functionality and fuel economy we had with the Accent we bought a Tucson. We went with the 4cyl because of fuel economy. Hyundai says this engine gets 27mph on the highway. Dont believe it. In a 5000 mile round trip from Florida to California we averaged 20mph at 70mph using the cruise control. My pick-up gets bet mileage that that. The service department overfilled the oil as if it were the 2.7 V6 and then scarred up the dash when the CD player had to be replaced. They also broke off the rear window whiper. Its mount is made of cheap pig- metal.

First SUV - 2005 Hyundai TUCSON
By Linda Green - August 3 - 8:06 pmSaw the Tucson at an auto show. We had just purchased a new Elantra for my husband and were picking it up when I sat in the Tucson to see how it felt. Really liked it. I traded in my 2003 Sonata GLS that was wonderful for the Tucson that I fell in love with. It handles well and is a pleasure to drive. Roominess is great. Im 6 and my husband is 63".

Had to have two ! - 2005 Hyundai TUCSON
By Steve - July 5 - 9:23 amWe had been reading about these SUVs for months and couldnt wait until they hit the showroom floor. After we drove one we were hooked ! Love the size and V6 and its a kick to drive. We ending up buying two ! Fit, form and function on both of our SUVs are excellent and they are just really fun to drive.

Great ride - 2005 Hyundai TUCSON
By Velda - June 20 - 5:13 amI purchased a 4 cylinder 2 liter automatic. It has a very comfortable ride like a car, smooth not bumpy. A lot of interior space. It is just me in it most of the time but I dont have to rely on asking someone to pick up large items for me. Once youve had an SUV, it would be very hard to go back to a car. This is perfect size.

Hyundai Tucson Rating - 2005 Hyundai TUCSON
By Alan Wade - June 13 - 6:03 pmPurchased nearly 3 mos. ago, my wife primarily drives it but we switch off. I think it is fun to drive & has a better ride than expected. More head room than our 2004 Sonata which is also very nice car.

What a GREAT car!!! - 2005 Hyundai TUCSON
By Tracey - May 28 - 11:26 amBefore buying a Tuscon I test-drove Hondas CR-V, Toyotas RAV4, Saturns VUE, Hondas Element, Chevy Blazer - none can hold a candle to the Tuscon. A smooth, QUIET ride was a must for me; it gives by far the most solid-feeling, quiet ride. Everything about it feels "sound" - even the doors close w/ a solid sound. Love this car!
